The company will need to raise more than a few million.
One of the main problems is the very large negative working capital with current liabilities of $28.5m and current assets of $8.5m. The company has said that this needs to be dealt with by raising fresh funds so I would have thought $10 to $20m is required.
The company is experiencing problems paying it's drilling and mining contractors at the moment which has resulted in a falling production (see guidance). There is a risk that the contractors will stop operations which would lead to a suspension of trading

Sounds like they have definitely given up on the 'major oil discovery ' at West Newton. The locals will be happy as they now won't have to worry about the truck traffic associated with oil production.
It's going to be a long wait for gas production if they can finally get a well to flow at a decent rate

Probably time to buy at so close to the placing price without having to pay a high commission for a placing.
All the placing shares went to one individual so they are unlikely to sell until the share price is significantly higher.
Presumably they think an inflection event is likely to be forthcoming

I was expecting/hoping that Mark Reid would step down and be replaced with a more dynamic CEO.
Reid clearly wanted to leave the company as he agreed to the aborted takeover

This reminds me of what happened with weatherly international, ticker WTI, another copper miner that was listed on AIM.
It's worth reading the historical RNSs to see what could happen if a miner runs out of cash

When you buy shares,however low the share price, and there's a risk of insolvency you risk losing 100% of your capital. That's the same loss whether you buy at 30p or 5p

Hope next RNS isn't 'suspension of trading on AIM pending clarification of financial position' but it is looking more likely

AJ-14 is just a small development well.
If you look at the company's presentation you'll see the next 2 wells are much larger prospects which will have a very significant impact on production if either 1 or both are successful

Read through all the previous announcements and you'll see that the company always starts an RNS with 'pleased', 'very pleased'or 'delighted' to announce. When there is bad news it simply says Immuhama 'announces'.
We'll have to wait and see what the implications are from the FDA's response but at best it will mean further delays to the trial.

Remember the original phase III trial that was unsuccessful, this is how the start to the RNS started: 'ImmuPharma PLC (LSE:IMM), the specialist drug discovery and development company, announces the results of its pivotal Phase III trial of Lupuzor™, '

A positive RNS would have a headline like 'FDA approves Lupuzor Phase 3 trial'
When it receives positive news, he company always starts off an RNS by saying 'Immupharma is delighted to announce...'
It is therefore not the news that were hoping for with more work likely required and further delays

Need to know whether sufficient finance can be procured,and if so on what terms,to plug the black hole in the balance sheet.
If the terms of the financing are poor and favour creditors and new investors then existing shareholders could effectively get wiped out by large dilution

Possibly forward selling if the company is trying to get a placing away?

The sale price is very disappointing given the massive rise in gas prices!

Seems like RBD only get 40% of proceeds.
RBD owns 50% so would be interested to know why there is a 10% discrepancy (commission/finder's fee?)

That was a bit of an anticlimax, I was trying to be realistic but still expected a much higher amount. The company will spend all of that so won't get a return to shareholders :-((

As has already been posted the RNS released today suggests that the company may have tried to get a placing away to raise sufficient funds but was unable to do so. Current market conditions mean it is difficult for struggling companies to secure funding

The business has been hit with a double whammy of a huge rise in fuel costs and a fall in the copper price.
The rise in fuel means it is not currently viable to truck the ore 40km to the processing plant.
Capital repayments on the debt are due to commence later this year and the company won't be able to pay that so fresh equity needs to be raised otherwise the creditors will take control of the company
