I'm waiting for the FY results 2024 to decide whether to continue holding. That'll be a lot of sales revenue in that time to add to the balance sheet & Adolfo will have had an input by then.

I don't think they have any assets left to strip. Capita is already a slimmed down operation.

Amongst many things, suggests moving off AIM to main market. I have mentioned this a couple of times here and it was also brought up in the recent Investor Meets Q&A. Majids answer was that market cap was too small.

Seems to me Capita is run for its employees. In one of my previous employments, when i had to work for a living, we were pretty much told customers & shareholders came first, and employees last. I have a feeling that Adolfo will get to grips with things and cut out the dead wood. JL is too much of a Great Uncle Bulgaria to his staff.

Just a couple of the good points from the update.

• TCV awarded at 31 July, £2.2bn; up 54%

• In year revenue increased 22% to £650m (H1 2022: £534m), strong performance in Experience

Only 2.65% of the company was traded yesterday. I imagine a lot of stop losses also got hit. They will be back in on Monday.

Agree JPP. Lot's of panic selling on Friday matched only by bargain hunters.

I expect a blue finish on Monday & possibly expedited board changes.

This kind of annoyed me from the update:

"....minimal impact from cyber incident..."

& then

"Reported loss before tax of £67.9m (H1 2022 profit: £0.1m) due to business exits, non-core Portfolio goodwill impairment and costs associated with the Group's cyber incident"

So not really minimal impact imv - actually £20m - £25m.

What a really nice letter from Helen. For me, the right thing to do today was not to panic sell & we should see some broker updates & weekend media comment.

At the moment, it's a pile of ploppy.

At least the staff are happy as indicated by the reduction in attrition rates. I mean, that's what matters after all isn't it. I can see Adolfo wielding the axe once he's fully in charge.

Been there, got the T-shirt Brass0. I took up the offer & locked my credit file. In the H1 update they say they recovered the data. What exactly does that mean. Anyway, I think we just need to assume all our data is at risk. Best not to respond to alarmist emails, not give out any passcodes, use 2FA etc & certainly no push payments to 'protect your account'.

They hit one out of the six analysts consensus targets: Adjusted revenue1 increased by 6% to £1,402.4m (consensus £1,355m) .

'On an adjusted basis, Capita's pre-tax profit increased by £8.4m to £33.1m. Turnover rose 3% to £1.47bn.'

Question is, are they generally still on target. A lot of brackets in the report but on an adjusted basis it looks rosier.

Have they made a negative profit or a positive loss ?

I hope Adolfo does a hatchet job on operating costs & lease liabilities. Freeholders are desperate to get businesses back into offices & to keep them there.

We can relax now that's out of the way. Next RNSs should be contract wins & TR-1 holdings as IIs look to the longer term.

I'm sure a lot of people were hoping to exit today with a profit instead they have exited with a loss. Best not sell at the low point imv.
