No one likes this SP on the face of it ...altho we had the debate yesterday on the pros and cons of such a situation given the NEM/NCM positioning. I don't need to or intend to resurrect yesterdays discussions!!

However, this article,albeit not saying very much on the face of it, does reiterate what Callum expounded on in his very recent interview regarding the Newmont bid.

Win win I recall him saying. If he doesn't know what's down under our dirt; then who on earth does?

Win win is what I am hearing from Callum, the press, and SD. I choose to believe it. Those who don't should think about doing better things with their time!

Let's just wait and see what transpires. As SD says, Newcrest are in 'play' which means that we all have to wait and see what the outcome is before anything can be dealt with either which way up!!

We have just been debating the reasons for a low SP and how it affects each party potentially.

Noone wants a low SP in the end and I hope in due course we will rise to the surface like cream. There's a lot that can happen and we all hope for the best outcomes but at least with the new Bod and Shaun in place and Wyloo, we may well have more options than we did!

For that please be grateful or we could have been dog food under the old regime.

I think this SP IS playing in SD's favour Dip and that SB and Sherry HAVE been underplaying us. The SP is what it is for many reasons but if we are as big as people think and as valuable, then the due diligence Nem are conducting will show some of the upside, even if the current SP doesn't but maybe when it is publicly low (as it is now) a low premium is all that's required in the case of an offer from whomsoever.

I know you will follow what I am saying Dip.

Guess we will all find out soon enough. I am still convinced some sort of deal is pretty much agreed in theory if not in reality yet anyway.

Plus his perma roadshows tirelessly informing and education in the Uk to both drum up trade & promote our potential new future opportunities for expansion.
