Not on here much as nothing of note happening that we can physically see … but I’m still of the mind that there is good stuff yet to come that cannot yet be disclosed or indeed, seen. . But that’s only my view.

I observed also Sisus note yesterday about GGP down under creating interest.

Well the jury is out on that poster imho only due to the fact they pop up without back up occasionally. However I do think the ASX listing will bring its rewards.

Quite !

The end result on prime real estate where land is precious and does not get wasted or left to rot , is usually sublime.

The journey is often slow precarious full of potholes and disruptions and expense however and hence frustrating !

But it takes shapes. Time in meetings and curveballs to the rules and the new laws ( in our case a takeover of the main builder !) Guts to make painful but far - reaching decisions by the part owner and foreman ( SD) and investment ( take your pick here :-)!)

But oh the end result. …I’m hoping will be something to behold !

Think of this as a new Structure being formed piece by piece.

Can we ever envisage an end in sight when a mere foundation is laid on a building site ? It’s hard to imagine isn’t it. It’s noisy. Dusty. Obtrusive. Even ugly in the early stages and irritation and frustrating … but despite all the angst and lack of vision it inspired it slowly takes shape.

SD came in to a structure ill- formed and virtually started again :except the foundation ( in this case an underground solid orebody of real gold copper and other riches ) and had to recommence rebuilding almost from scratch ( a mere $4 m)

So he’s got Newcrest building with now Newmont s name currently over the door. But also bought in his own partners for backing, Wyloo, the billionaire Twiggy and a bonus giant builder Rio to add to his building prowess and clout as an MD! He tells his investors of new initiatives he’s working on frequently. We enable him to build on despite the disruption dust and debris sometimes clouding our view of the end piece !

The foundation is laid and the scaffolding is up. But he likes this gold rich area. It’s elite. So he’s thinking extensions now and I bet still scouting around for additional rooms to add to the house.

The structure is starting to form. Slowly painfully. But surely. It takes time but in my view will eventually be a thing of beauty. I’m waiting and watching. It’s hard. But nothing of beauty doesn’t take time blood sweat and tears to form or create.

Still here. Still not sold a bean. Still waiting for a future thing of beauty.

Sell or Stay. It really is your choice. But things are unfolding and in my view there are still rooms to be added in places and I’m looking forward to a bigger place which I have shares in !

It’s my view that there’ll be more news to paint that more rounded picture and foundation upon which to decide on a vote.

Let’s wait and see. There’ll be a reason SD hasn’t come over as yet. If the past is anything to go by , I expect he’s working hard on other things. Hopefully exciting ones that will add to solid foundations.

Hi lobby. It’s not a direct quote from Newmont.

However Alistair ( who we most of us have a lot of time for ) is basically saying that Newmont on,y acquire for accretive purposes , tier 1 assets. Or portfolios. It would seem , by default , we fall into that category !:-)

Loft I don’t normally address people directly however in this case if you are a genuine holder then I respect your losses if there are any currently. If it makes you feel even a tiny bit let alone , currently I and many others on here are also down on our investment as it has slipped below my average.

Is it comfortable; no not really , but as an investor I look to the realities of actions. GH had his day but he went as far as he could go and hired an excellent operator in Shaun.

Shaun inherited a poor legacy. In time though he’s making it his business to build hi,self and SH riches.

Either stay and moan or go and be done with it.

Please choose a course. But moaning will gain nothing at all even if we all feel the pain currently.

Let’s see what the next chess moves are before we all dwell on current macro factors & poor sentiment .

SD is not the Messiah however rather than relying on things outside his control , he has with each step taken us a step forwards in foundation and fundamentals , if not the SP!

I’d rather an active MD at the hr,m surrounded by experts than a showman who talks a good story.

These people know how to mine.

Mining will eventually bring long term rewards.

AIM is the Wild West. But this is beginning to feel like a real company with prospects.

-the Rio targets are stand out as they’re shallower targets.

- re skin in the game - think he’s bored by this but be content imho with the fact that whilst little director equity buys it means they’re busy hatching future possibilities!their buys will come !

- re his commitment - ‘I’m all in. This is it’- good news I’d say ! His commitment speaks volumes to me !plus imho he saved us from a 3 p sale and ignominity !

-tier 1 or 2- well I feel he knows it’s a tier 1. Plus he later says we are likely to mine at Telfer and with decades of minelife. A sure thing imho

- re future jvs - ‘ the days of sharing our best assets are behind us ‘- ie. I’m not content with just being the prince of the Paterson. I’m looking to be crowned king !

- is this a multi billion potential Co - my take YES! SO THERE!,

Nobody loves an overdone drop on the share price. Least of all me !

However if anyone thinks SD leaving now when things are hitting up needs their heads read !

No one is a ‘ messiah’! However GH was encouraging SH to buy whilst selling close to 100 m shares at the same time ! He aided the phenomenal drop from 22 p downwards !

Imo the Co was on its knees financially with just $4 m in the bank. We now have closer to $220m plus leeway and time. No interest till we spend. More land to grab in elephant country. Potential accretive acquisition and a board that wouldn’t waste their time peeing off retail investors for the sake of it. They’re here to build.

I’m waiting and watching and doing a Buffet whilst the sentiment is on its knees. Suggest those who spout and cry daily sell and save themselves.
