Whilst awaiting SD’s announcement of arrival in London one wonders what’s going on in the background ?……

Nothing would surprise me currently as Rio jv was a welcome bonus and there’s so much to play for here ?

Ok so along with many others I don’t normally do predictions as it’s AIM it’s dependent on macro, sentiment , leadership , acquisitions, organic & inorganic accretion, leadership and Board direction and influence and a sprinkle of magic fairy dust plus luck & timing.

With all those caveats aside and putting consolidation aside for a minute , and IMHO only; here’s my madness with the methods behind it :

Now to 12 months - up to 20 p if all toddles along as is with ASX onboard plus good drilling results plus build up to DTM DFS & MRE for Hav and good prospects for EG Juri and Scally

12-24 months - up to 50 p if the above are favourable and EG starts it’s drilling campaign ( as we know that has a few m oz in it already potentially)

12-24 months - Tymers 88 p - if all of the above & Rio jv strikes

Now to 3 years - (Wild Card ) -Panamas Pound !- if all of the above plus SD bags Telfer & Hav

Now to 5 years - Mickeys £1.44 - if all of the above and SD elevates from Prince of the Paterson to being crowned King with other jvs under our jurisdiction : then happy days for those of us who are still here !

Time will tell !

What a plethora of positive news moves & fabulous future prospects currently !

-Income upcoming via royalties.

-new listing coming imminently with upcoming investment possibilities

- a hook up and a bunch of new exploration potential with another serious major!

- who knows what potentially post merger talks ?!

Whoever said SD was positively ‘fizzing ‘ during that incredibly positive Sunday Roast podcast wasn’t kidding !

Shaun not long ago said , in my direct hearing , words to the effect of , he’d pay a dollar for Telfer if offered for sale.

In isolation it’s not worth much.

The fact that it is useful potentially to ‘us’ is a different matter. It will drain its new owners dry and imho if it were ever divested it would be for a deal. Worthless without us. In fact less that worthless. The beginning intro to negotiations if there ever were / are any.

Remember that our 5% was valued very low despite ‘what we know ‘ and despite what Newcrest no doubt ‘knew’ !

Remember that , along with the majors we are now the greatest landowner in the Paterson !

The Paterson is known elephant country with many similar targets anomalies and geophysics.

It remains to a greater extent unexplored / undeveloped.

We have a new Super BOD that ‘know’ people who can help us unearth it and that have their own expertise of running majors and that seems to me to be what SD wants to become. A major !

And we have Hav. Scally. And more now with Rio etc.

What’s not to like ? I hope this next few years will help us all grow our own investment along with the Aussie super funds !

Some quick key points in a good interview. Thanks to Liam for grabbing the hopeful new ‘Prince of the Paterson !

- Shaun continue to follow his 3 pillars of strategy in drinking the new Rio jv in elephant territory with proximity to Havieron by 1. Expanding our footprint 2. Investing in drill bit and hoping to drill here in this calendar year in territory identified by fantastic geophysics already by world class miner Rio Tinto

3. Exploring and investing in inorganic projects. Brilliant platform imho

- funding wise we are well placed and positioned with high profile debt funding to expedite this over several key years of drilling and developing

-Nearology it is world class territory with Havieron like , Telfer like AND Winu like anomalies in his view. Triple whammy ! Elephant country

- re Hav he continues to reiterate working in synchs with and around the huge corporate transaction going on with Newmont and underlines the DFS is a dead cert pre continuing with official dtm but in line with the majors deal transaction . He points out to remember this is the biggest merger in gold sector history !

- re mothballing concerns over Hav he reiterated we have right of refusal to mine if they don’t but in his view dtm already decided since Feb 21!Tup!

- debt facility for Hav remains pretty much the same. In fact we’re ahead of the curve on decline and have an inbuilt buffer for funds already. Happy days !

- my view on his language re Newmont shelving Hav and Telfer appeared to indicate he thinks they would want to keep both. Interesting as I’m keen for us to grab em. Let’s see what evolves.

- he rates Newmont highly in any event and works well with them. Good news.

- re us being taken out. It’s not our plan to sell. Unless for full value he won’t put it to SH in case of offer. But interestingly he mentions the back up funds of Wyloo in the same topic indicating that we need not fear a lousy offer as we have our own protector !

-the opportunity of working with Newmont offers less risk to us we’d be part of a now 60 bn dollar co instead of a 20 bn dollar outfit

- why ASX? Reiterates no threat to London listing and simply offers up a platform to super Aussie funds. Aussies are mandate linked to ASX type platform in order to invest ‘new’ funds

- re consolidation or equity raise as admittance to ASX. Not his preference to dilute but a consideration . Consolidation considered also as funds prefer less shares in a potential company investment. Also maybe that ASX waiver need for 20 cents for admittance. All being considered. RNS termology was in compliance with a lawyer. No biggie we had to respond to the leak lawfully

— finally and imho most importantly he goes on to conclude that Rio Tinto deal is the Uset of many new platforms he foresees.

The most important bit of your post Zoros is that Shaun and the BOD rhstsvhes pit into place for a reason and their networks and expertise are all ‘on it ‘ both to add value for bringing new instils on board and for us shareholders and of course for themselves.

It’s a magnificent chess game in play to bring on a new prince of the Paterson.

There’ll be ups & downs but it’s a whole new board game and I’m prepared to wait it out till it’s done !

There’s more risk (lessening as we speak ) and I think more reward.

We were , remember , sitting with just $4 m in the meagre bank with GH ‘s post jv deal and with vultures circling

Luckily he appointed his successor wisely and now it’s a whole new ball game.

It’s an exciting game ahead with superb poker players every bit as savvy as the big boys and girls.

As chippy would say …. We are a piece of history in the making with Hav at our helm and currently our ace card.

If jurinand Scally hit it large then all bets are off and champagne all round !!

I expect a few have asked questions of SD for Liams forthcoming interviews.

Hopefully we will get a gist of what’s happening in the background once things can be discussed , hinted at or deduced by elimination !

The Townhall when it happens should also make things a little clearer. Not long to wait !

I suspect a lot going on in the background on our part and due diligence and a fair bit of time deciding on tie ups or loose ends or disposals and alliances on Newmont and Newcrests side.

Waiting game for decisions now. But clearly SD is not twiddling his thumbs not the super BOD !
