Quite!!
Hi Spades :-) !! We have allegedly much gold underground...but we also have it would appear, more than one metal and the gold is only one of our strengths we are all hoping!
Gold, Nickel, Bismuth, Copper, Cobalt, Molys brothers and sisters....etc etc!
Greatland......Gold but more than Gold......a whole ton of resource that we hope others want going forwards?
Also we must remember that Shaun has been courting his small but powerful army to aid his negotiations for the 5% and to thwart the Biswas's of the day.....
It is all to play for and we have more than one 'play'
It all depends on which way NEM/NCM play goes now as to which fork in the road we will take.
There's more than one way to skin a cat one hopes that this next 12 months will be the catalyst to growing resources...not just Gold!

Hello All,
Mark your point is extremely valid! Ask yourselves WHY SD has bought onboard such a high calibre team ? We are yet to find out but even more pertinent....is WHY did they agree to come?
Now THAT is surely the real question?
To twiddle their expert thumbs? I think not!
New high calibre superpower BOD....and a business development team who have come from no other than Twiggys former company? I'd say there is more than one pretty good reason, and I am itching to find out!
PLUS I am bored of hovering about in the 7's and 8's and want to see us move in the right direction again.
C'mon GGP!!!!
Hi StarBright
Interesting post.
With reference to your comment on operating expenditure.
I want to remind people that those of you who have met SD at town halls and various communications with him would recall his stance that as a slimline unbloated junior ( as opposed to a weight bloated major with many additional costs to support and much infrastructure) that we would have a much reduced operating cost maximising the output and profit of a venture like mining Havieron in its entirety. The skills are in situ. The infrastructure is slimline but know, edgeable. The experience is longstanding. The will and the desire are there. The ambition and drive is obvious ….
Sounds good to me !,
Here’s to the opportunity and here’s hoping we get it !

All imho
This could play out in a number of ways as we know and it’s obviously a bit nail-biting not knowing which way it will go as to our direction.
But I’m pretty sure also that the deal is just a matter of negotiations completing now. Then we will know.
When I first came onboard years ago I was all for a quick buyout of Hav or GGP as then the decision was taken out of my hands as I’m an impatient investor and have put a lot of faith and eggs in this basket !
However things have evolved and hopefully for the better and bigger long term rewards , although it’s a longer and more winding road now but some direction is surely in sight now and I take heart in the quite incredible energy leadership and business savvy of our MD and his bod and new business development team , and his ambition.
Therefore I am more prepared to wait it out and believe Callum was genuine in his belief of a ‘win win ‘ whichever way it swings.
I’ve waited this long and so many others have waited much longer but SD means business. I’m taking a leap of faith it will be beneficial whichever way it goes but I believe we will know soon.
We are getting closer to ore. Gold is becoming more valuable and more scarce and we have other golden eggs potentially to lay in our portfolio.
This board of ours want to earn their shares at a much higher price than 8 pence.
So do I!

Newcrest are due to give results and are staging a webcast which they don’t normally do at this time. Other results are also due from partners in the upcoming merger /talks.
We as GGPers are awaiting which fork in the yellow brick road we will be taking, and important news is key to which direction SD will take !
That’s how I see it anyway !

Shaun Day, Greatland’s managing director, described it as a “significant and high-grade result."
"While recognising the high-grade intercept is at depth, the strong gold mineralisation and supporting pathfinder geochemistry in consistently altered and veined basement sediments continues to highlight the outstanding prospectivity within Greatland's tenement package.”
