Precisely, but the point is that the divisiveness and devious nature of SB's strategic manipulation etc didn't win him any prizes did it? SD saw through it, stood up for us (and his dream) and saw him off, and I am sure with his network within NEM and NCM along with the wide circle of spies I am sure he also has and moles in the mining fraternity, )lets call them friends.....I think he saw a lot of the outcome ahead of time and gambled on that which he did not know! I doubt it was all luck right place and right time. We almost became dust at several points along the way, as opposed to now digging up dirt with many gold nuggets in it!

The point is....Goliath fell on his own sword and David's still standing to fight another day. He is not the Messiah but goodness...he is one hell of a strategist and does what he says he will and more. I for one am in awe of what he has achieved and my money is on him to take me where I need this to go. And I have told him so in no uncertain terms personally trust me! Poor guy :-)

Sorry ….. but I have to say it ! David beat Goliath to the spoils! Hopefully this means our painfully long wait will find even more gold at the end of our emotionally coloured rainbow 🌈 in due course !

This particular post as a response by Hydro commands attention as it’s very valid , well constructed and worth reposting. I don’t always agree with Hydro says to be fair but this is valid : bottom line being that Shaun , has pulled ,not just one ,but many blinders and if he can replicate Northern Star , I believe he will :

Just step back and look at what hes' achieved in 3 years... Hes transformed Greatland from the Jaws of Bankruptcy and gamesmanship of NCM.

He's transformed GGP into a major 300-450koz gold producer by late 2024 (which at least 12-24 moths ahead of best case scenarios ( ie Havieron schedules)

Some how he's won back the other 70% of Havireon using the ROLR for 50% dilution but simultaneously generated the funding stream to pay for Havieorn (given the 507koz on the RoM )

This IMO takes our NAV to well over $1.8bn.... (1.2 for Hav plus the 500-600m profit sat on the Rom at Telfer)

The $160m + 20% of the company) up front purchase price did not include much value for Telfer's physical infrastructure and permits - which originally cost at least $1.5-1.8bn US to build back in 2004 - so whats that in today's money? (I'll give you a hint gold was $300-400 oz) IMO it's approximately 4-6x so at least $5bn US worth of infrastructure in Telfer. How much would it cost to build Telfer today - $5bn ... $10bn...? more?

Then you have the US $50m Telfer mill refurbishment shutdown costs that just took place (generously funded by Newmont).

And then to top it off we have a fully functional massive former Tier1 mine to explore and the potential to produce from for the next 5-10-15 or 20 years ...

Having Trust is everything. And it's critical as an investor: It's a measure of many qualities: Honesty and integrity but it's also a measure of one's technical aptitude and skill level. But on top of this you need something else : The total willingness to work hard:

Everything’s possible if POG continues its storm, and Telfer continuation of bread & butter stock , mining of high value Havieron in due course extraction, and a new strike plus the jvs to come where SD is landlord or gracious partner or acquirer of nearby tenements or partnerships, and when a new strike lands from one of our many nugget- fields to be ….and when the stars are aligned and the world finally seees our value. Ie the large ASX funds and level 1s etc etc

Foundations are now laid...and the pipeline stacking up and more so in the summer from ASX onwards...and Havieron being prepped for lift off in 2026 or thereabouts...and Telfer being dug to death to ensure maximum cashflow to extract every last profitable ounce whilst POG stealthily in climb to heights mode!

I'm waiting for it to one day pass ATH's but granted that could be a long wait from now but at least more of a secure climb slow slowly....

Spy's last post was totally accurate imv and SD may not have our SP up to where we all want it...YET....and I recognise it will now take longer to get to anything substantial (ie not rampy, speculative or pumped!).

However, I am equally amazed, as some others ,as to how Shaun has pulled not just one, but many many blinders here to be fair to him and we are now, quite miraculously ,given the duress NCM and other factors put us under during the course of this past few years , now on a growth and steady trajectory with the POG aiding and abetting our ability to process less economic gold from Telfer in addition to the potential high value shiny stuff plus upcoming Havieron spoils in due course.

Steady as she goes and Slowly Slowly....granted!

But goodness what acrobatics and death -defying feats of leadership ingenuity plus a black book full of networks has had to be performed to get us to where we are now? How many people do you think could have come into a near penniless explorer, with a near- rubbish JV agreement , in a not-so much loved mining sector at the time, and achieved all this?

I hope for this spring-board to take us to greater heights than the wibbly wobbly jelly- based one we stood on before. Sold gold this one!

Onwards & Upwards. I am not here for a miserly 7 p either, but am hoping in a year or three to come, it will have been worth the wait and all the patience, agonies and tears along the way.

The GGP journey has been fraught with twisters & buoyed up with classy strategic moves alike ,but on its way ,slowly but surely, to new and more steady growth in 2025.

I can’t say I’m thrilled with where the SP is to date ,but there’s prospects ahead now and on a steadier ship. Onwards & Upwards.

Good to see this shifting a bit from the 5's and 6's and when we hit double -digits and stay there moving slowly on up from that base, I will be more appreciative of a new company (which we are now) in build mode.

Like most I have had to reluctantly adjust my target base now that we are where we are and cannot think of ATH numbers at this point for quite some time, unless a few miracle strikes occur, which I hope they will.

I originally had a 5 year plan from 2019/20 for this investment and that has changed to a 10 year plan , which in mining terms is more normal anyway, all being well.

Just glad we have the leader and board that we do, which stopped us from going under or eaten up by sharks for a song.

I do have every faith that SD et al will take us to a multi-billion multi asset dream. It just will take time unless some spectacular strikes and jv's get discovered and sown up.

Time to start the clock again and hope for some gold dust along the way to hasten the journey.

I don’t know by when … and the jury is now out on how many years it will take SD & Co to achieve this. But the article in the afr yesterday quoting SD and future plans he has underline that this will happen in due course. He dies what he says. It’s not just talk !

The timelines may take some people out here and that’s understandable . But those who can wait ( and if new strikes along the way then much sooner ) I do believe this company will achieve just that !

This is all good news and well done Shaun for managing expectations and probably recognising the need for consistent news of late, to keep the markets updated!

I look forward to some further solidity and risk- free confirmation to this (imho ) but do agree that this may not put the rocket up the SP in the way we'd all like it to...just yet at least.

No news seems to lift this at the moment and income and more listings that reach wider markets etc etc need to happen for major uplift. But it IS good news and I hope it comes sooner rather than later.

It will be soon no doubt as all seems to be progressing well!

I am still somewhat surprised that the SP continues to drift along at such low value but as I have said before the catalysts are not yet in place re ASZ etc and sellers will sell to get a quick buck.

It still pretty much feels like the market doesn't know (or much care!) about what we have, so when they finally do, let's hope this starts to show its true gold and copper value. I don't think I have ever seen such a slow take-off as this share over the last few years. Now we have certainty, let's look forward to some deliverables!

Lassonde has been mentioned by SD himself and we hope the upward curve kicks in soon.

Yes it has been a bit of a rollercoaster hasn't it, although the story is still amazing and the company now in good hands.

If we get a new strike elsewhere , then that would change the immediate outlook somewhat, so let's hope!

But yes may need a few parties on the way to where we all really want it to be eventually!

Look forward to seeing you and Mrs Speedy again soon. Maybe a Stag at Xmas . Let's see.

Agreed MH , and absolutely, but now is now and the past three years are the past three years and I just think that the platform is now set for real longterm growth rather than the fanciful ATHs along the way, that were discovery and sentiment- led.

Now is when the real work begins after the negotiations have been acted upon and we get the keys.

SD has delivered the foundation and pathway, and now he will expedite each catalyst along the way.

It's just about expectations shorter term, that's all.

There has been a fair bit of torment if we are all honest about the past few years and justifiably so. Now we can look forward to real figures and profit and not be concerned about what most didn't know and how close we came to shrinking back further than minnow-status.

Onwards now & Upwards. I hope it all happens very quickly, when it starts and pegs are nailed into the ground going forwards. But think we should pace ourselves a bit. Anything more is a bonus right now. The sky really could be the limit in due course though!
