I’m on & off the grid here due to work , being away , etc but what a journey this company has been to date. A few years ago it was off the scale hyped but with a genuine discovery base ( Havieron ) but minion shareholders of our own future mine.

Look at us now. ? An incredible turnaround ,post, almost biting the dust after major manipulated manoeuvre s and greed overtaking the helm with the old guard ! Yet now in the hands of who I can only describe as a mastermind leader and BoD that aren’t here for pennies. They’re here for pounds. Post consolidation and beyond. So am I.

What a journey so far and in my view , it’s only just really beginning after a very shaky few years.

Privileged to be here still and to get to know so many interesting ( as well as nefarious!lol) characters. All in the same race ,either trying to get to the finish line as winners, or tripping others up for mere pennies along the way only to be thwarted by resolve , belief and sheer tenaciousness!

The ASX is just one catalyst ahead but I’m seriously glad to be part of this journey and hope it brings the rewards in time , we’ve all waited for.

After a fairly hair—raising few years there’s now a whirlwind of activity that can’t fail to be noticed and never before has that phrase ‘the market doesn’t understand what we’ve got ‘ been more true at 13 odd pence pre consolidation!

Methinks it’s about to truly realise what we’ve got as the SD machine starts to churn out nugget after nugget of our own mine extraction and real money ( ie gold not paper patheticness ) ; process nearology offerings who come a - begging ; hopefully a new strike at some point ; new data to thrill the markets at large ; and new institutional investors from the heart of mining country!

Going to be an amazing few years ahead !

Regardless of your view on here , I don’t think it’s beneficial to anyone screaming about how happy they are with the SP drop !

We’re going in the right direction strategically and the SP will eventually catch up.

But don’t see any point in celebrating losses whether on paper or otherwise.

Agree with the 3-4 year view !

A lot to extrapolate in this time period with Telfer and Hav

Anything else of our own would be a huge bonus !plus nearology plays.

Fingers and toes crossed our Scallywag comes in too . Now that WOULD. be a coup though the jury’s out on that one :-)

Great to meet more investors at the TH tonight and incredible that Shaun, not only made it ,after almost 40 hours of travelling intact ; but also was lucid , lighthearted and loyally answering every shareholder question thrown at him, in meticulous depth and openness.

He deserved every second of that ovation !

Some highlights for me and I’m sure I’ll recall more tmw but here’s a few :

- he’s almost certainly committed to GGP and its growth to include bringing Havieron to life for the next 5 years

- he mentioned our cash - richness a few times with so far no debt drawn.

- he admitted the struggles to thrive with only 30% of the show but came onboard to get the whole 100% and now we have it , we’re in control and looking to see it all through to the end

- to achieve a legacy of multi decades of mining output ( generational wealth )

- putting insurance ( ie puts ) in place is our ‘hedge ‘ but as we know at $3000per oz of POG currently a safe bet

- he acknowledged the twists & turns of the past few years but onwards & upwards in his tenure for another five with the 100% to generate much more with

- he gets every employee to squeeze every ounce of juice out of the mine and every incremental gain brings value ( which larger companies don’t achieve as well )

- there’s gold in them there WDU and WDD to come before we move onto our other rich Paterson potential plus Havieron

-ASX touting has begun and it can only be good for us to increase exposure to new funds and therefore wealth and growth to come.

Great performance by a diligent and heavily invested CEO who’s building his legacy and our ROI to come hopefully.

Element , I’d say if we had a different leader of this company amidst the confluence of factors in our favour macro and otherwise plus the daring deal of Telfer and Hav and timing …I’d say we’d still hit a 2-3 x bagger.

But with SD as our boss .. we’ve hit the jackpot. He’s quite an extraordinary strategist and works harder than any CEO I’ve ever encountered! I’d say 3-5 x is at the very least possible at some future point. Years maybe but if we get another strike like Hav all bets are off

I’ve put all my investment on it !

I work with leaders of companies in diverse industry sectors in the UK from fmcg to manufacturing , techies , pharma, oil and gas etc etc.

What happens in the macro world matters and especially the main influencers over in the USA as the current superpower.

It matters. It’s relevant to gold and POG , hence relevant to miners. OUR industry.

Of course it’s relevant !

I know you mean well as do others. But yes agreed on my part that the landed message was perhaps a little skew whiff on this occasions.

One of the latest media articles points out the success of the takeover of Telfer etc but we needed backing as it points out herein this bit of the article:

'Convinced Newmont and other backers

Newmont took some convincing that Greatland was a serious contender but was swayed by the backing of the Forrests through Wyloo, Greatland’s high-powered board and a history of doing asset sales with Mr Day on the other side.'

ie We needed the likes of Wyloo and Twiggy to be seen as serious contenders. How Wyloo continue with Greatland is not yet determined, but not sure we could have pulled this all off without them in the first place and hopefully now, SD knows what he wants and his shareholders including us benefit whatever happens next.
