George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
For example our E45/6134 has also been applied for and allocated the following numbers to
E45/6135 - FMG PILBARA PTY LTD
E45/6136 - BOADICEA RESOURCES LTD
E45/6137 - MINING EQUITIES PTY LTD
E45/6140 - RIO TINTO EXPLORATION PTY LIMITED
Maybe the fact that we've got the lowest tenement number allocated means that our application was processed first.
I think you've missed out a digit on those tenements Moose, those one's that you listed have been dead for years according to the Aussie emits website.
Greatland are in for the following tenements
E 45/6134 - lodged on the 05/01/2022
E45/6164 - lodged on the 07/02/2022
E45/6188 - lodged on the 02/03/2022
All these have been applied for by multiple parties - not just GGP so we have to wait to see the outcome of the decision.

More than happy for it to be called "gazundering" Strudel. Shaun did say in London that there is a part of him that would just like to get the 5% deal done and out of the way so he can start with a clean slate but then he understands the importance of brokering the best possible deal and as he keeps saying - shareholders should be confident that he has put the right team in place to allow this to happen.
He said that NCM were happy to sign up to a deal the week after they had bid for it having no doubt already done the number crunching that they were bringing to the table - I for one am more than happy to give Shaun every bit of support and leeway on this issue, he is fighting tooth and nail to bring as much value into the SP as possible.
Like Bamps says that production leg of the Lassonde curve is getting more and more tantalising close with every day that passes.
Looking forward to seeing what Wednesday night brings again - GLA Paddy
My understanding of the 5% negotiations is that they are based on a point in time which was triggered when NCM decided to bid for it. They wanted to use the PFS number as that was the only figure out in the public at that time but Shaun and the team gazumped them by updating the number but only up to the drilling at the 5th December.
So in essence the 5% parameters have already been set and whatever MRE upgrade that NCM come up with in August isn't going to have an effect on those negotiations IMO. Maybe I am reading the situation incorrectly but that's my understanding.

It's not 5% of GGP - it's 5% of Havieron and it's still being negotiated.
They have 12 months from the day that they informed GGP of their intention to bid to complete the deal. GGP put out an RNS on the 21st December so I assume they have until the 21st December this year to either agree or have determination of the fair value. Once that is decided Newcrest have another 30 days to decide if they want to take the 5% or not.

Just did a quick tweet to indicate what Bamps is referring to about the quick access/development of ore from the first vertical mining face. This is directly from the end of the decline so would only require the small capex to enable the drives and x-cuts to be driven into the ore-body. As the SLOS system is a top-down mining method - the first ore would be rolling off to Telfer relatively quickly and that means our pathway to cash flow would be pretty rapid.
The ore is that section is the best understood as it naturally has the most drill-holes through it at the moment and the oz's per vertical metre are between 6K & 10K per metre.

According to the GDXJ holdings from the 13/4/2022
https://www.vaneck.com/us/en/investments/junior-gold-miners-etf-gdxj/holdings/
https://www.vaneck.com/uk/en/gdxj/holdings/
The US listed fund has 211,674,411 and the UK listed fund has 21,730,330 giving Van Eck GDXJ a total of 233,404,741 GGP shares.
Unless there is another fund / area within Van Eck that we are not aware of then I have to assume it is some sort of double count or miscount.

Cheers Mark, they were fun times when there were new pads and rigs appearing all over the place on a weekly basis. The progress is a little slower now with the orebody being pretty much defined (for now) but unbelievable that after all this time it's pretty much still open in all directions and at depth.
Personally I think we can go a lot further yet - IMHO.
I managed to get a nice clear satellite shot of the main Havieron area from yesterday.

Looks to me like they are getting busy on the first of the three pads that seemed to be cleared to the south of the sand dune. This one is about 400m to the SE of HAD152 (awaiting assays) and will either be going North / North East and very deep into the SE crescent to test the extensions and depth OR could be heading East to test the dolerite dyke further to the South. Either way it's another decent step-out hole and I guess they wouldn't be doing so if HAD152 / HAD154 weren't giving them some encouragement.

Congrats Max - great to see that people have been able to take the opportunity to build a stake at these levels.
I did the same back in 2018/2019 (albeit at a lower level) and it paid off handsomely - I'm still holding 90% of those through the up's and down's and agree with you that the penny will drop here - every day is a day closer to the ore and production and while people will argue that there are better trading opportunities out there (probably correct) I'm not a trader and am more than happy to watch Shaun & the team bring the vision to fruition.

Artemis just posted that they are back on route out to the Paterson.

Things going to get busy out there again - ARV rigs & hopefully an increase in the rigs at Havieron as Shaun mentioned in London.

Lots of us still here Jambo and silently and patiently waiting for the progress to reflect.
Agreed that yesterday was good progress and it's probably a mathematical certainty that there are other big deposits in the vicinity - it's just not that easy to locate them under the cover.
The evidence shows there were mineralising fluids present in the drill holes - we just need to locate the structures & rocks that provided the right conditions to trap those fluids.
Right place - right time - just need to vector in on the good stuff.

From the Hannam & Partners Note
"Drilling and ground EM in 2021 follows 2020 airborne magnetic survey
GGP’s 2021 exploration activity at Scallywag aimed to hone in further on
anomalies identified in a 2020 airborne electro-magnetic survey. The results
today highlighted several areas with encouraging evidence of a mineralising
fluid system, including occurrences of gold and pathfinder elements, quartzcarbonate veining, hydrothermal alteration, trace sulphides and a possible
supergene dispersion zone. At Swan in particular, three holes were targeted at
an anomaly identified in the 2020 aerial survey. While the results of the drilling
“did not adequately explain” the airborne EM conductor, the occurrence of gold
within broader zones of anomalous bismuth, tellurium and antimony was,
nevertheless, encouraging. Furthermore, a ground-based EM survey in 2021 to
better define the Swan target identified eight subvertical “conductor plate”
targets, including two east and west of Swan which are hypothesised to
represent areas of higher-grade mineralisation, which could in turn create a
“halo” explaining the Au-Bi-Te-Sb showings in the 2021 drilling. These
conductor plates are now high priorities for drill testing in 2022."
Check out Google for what these "pathfinder" elements can eventually lead to - no guarantees but the best place to look for a gold mine is ........

@MFU - Havieron work is being funded from the $50m NCM loan - Shaun can't just not explore on the other tenements. There are minimum amounts that need to be spent to keep the tenements in good order and he knows that all it takes is one more decent hit to completely change the balance of the situation with the JV back into our favour.
It's minimum spend on these programs as they are targeting areas with individual holes and not "pattern" drilling as he stated on his recent visit - I for one am happy for them to continue with their programs.

Have a look at the document in the JORC section of the GGP website. There's a diagram on there that explains what GGP think MAY be happening.
https://greatlandgold.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/20220405-GGP-Announcement-Scallywag-Drilling-Results-with-images.pdf
The results of the drilling do NOT explain the source of the electromagnetic anomaly that was recorded. They have identified conductors to both the east and west of the reported drill-hole and the results reported suggest that they may have intersected the HALO of a bigger deposit. These "PLATES" will be drill tested in 2022.
Remember NCM got similar results from their holes at Havieron in the 90's - it's a slow laborious process but still all to play for.
ATB - Paddy
What job is Shaun going to get on the NCM bod that would even compare to being CEO of what could possibly be the next Aussie/UK mid tier miner - nothing!!!
You should have come to meet the man in person in London - he is am ambitious man who is building his own high profile bod at GGP with the likes of Paul Hallam and has stated publicly that he's speaking to other high profile Aussie mining professional that would be interested in joining the board.
He's intent on building something big here and unless the rug is pulled from under his feet I think he has the drive and ambition to achieve it.
Everyone has their own perspective and that's fine but I'm more convinced than ever - Paddy
