what is flawed is an investment strategy of investing in a falling knife which is showing no evidence of any turnaround Why on earth would anyone buy at this price? why? this is heading much lower & peeps are too blinkered by previous SP levels & chunky dividends to see the road ahead which will be very painful indeed for housebuilders & homeowners alike.

more concerned about a long position. I was thinking £10 would be a good entry point but looking at the way these markets are going i think it's going a good bit lower than that!. 3rd Nov i think is next base rate decision & should be a Trading update here soon after. hold back till then i think!

interest rate rises won't cure this inflation. An end to Putin's war in Ukraine is the catalyst needed to stop the price spiral. The government with Liz & Kwasi & the BoE with Bailey in charge are just going to wreck the economy!

if it's a share save option type scheme it's zero risk. If it's buy for £10 now with no tie in clause it's free money. If an employee were locked in for a defined period it's a fairly poor benefit!

At £10 this would give a near 25% yield based on last years dividend. But people need to open their eyes & realise that you'll be lucky if they hold the 125 element of the dividend. It's not a long time ago that dividends here were fairly low. Next interest rate hike this will be sub a tenner is my forecast!

I nearly bought back in this morning. I decided to hold back until we actually see the numbers. In normal times this would have gone up far more on that update. To be fair it had dropped to a silly low level but this market is just so unpredictable & the outlook isn't great. seems like a decent company & these prices do seem stupid but loads of shares at daft levels atm!

just hold back from averaging down. wait until after the next rate decision. You'll thank me for saving you money!

rxdav, my opinions are backed up by evidence. You're obviously underwater a bit here on your investment but i'm sure the SP will recover so no need to hurl insults. I've called this right thus far as you know. No reason this falling knife will stop & well you know that!
