Brexit deal or no deal will have little impact here in the longer term. A no deal may present a short term buying opportunity but i can't see how Brexit has any real impact on global oil market which is where BP generates it's profits!

attempting to day trade BP is not good. price range usually equals low profit margin v risk of rallying away. far better shares out there for a day game. This is mid/long term hold type share!

Richie, 246? where did you pluck that number from? tell ya something. If you right i'll cash in all my other investments & buy more of these. I'm gutted i didn't get more @low 260s today now. This will open 270ish & skyward from there IMO. i wouldn't mind if it waits a few more days so i can buy a few extra on the cheap but i doubt it!

Looking at how some of the travel shares etc have rallied today I really feel BP is shortly going to be taking off in splendid fashion!

i need a bit of luck. Not had great success with most of the shares. Always cashed out too early. Had big holdings in Melrose@93p, NEX@ 140, IAG @167(pre RI).Barc@91. Made only peanuts on any of them. Hindsight is a wonderful thing in this game. Ne'er mind onwards & upwards with BP.

derampers only come about as jealous. Missed out at 188, waiting for 160; missed out 200 waiting to go back to 188; missed out 230 waiting for 220. Let them wince while this sails past 300 then 400. Ya missed out now butt out!

UT is 255.05. That is the official close price. Google have a habit of posting the price very early on. Damn, i was hoping for a top up sub 250 too!
