Messy, i occasionally will agree with you yes i agree some of the Government support strikes me as bizarre. Why give away taxpayers cash to private retailers? loans, yes fine. non repayable grants, no. Will these companies be allowed to pay dividends to SHers in future? of course. Sunak's policies are really bizarre IMO!

Can anyone give me an example of one of these heavily shorted shares which has never bounced back big. I can't think of any off hand. They all gone on to multibag at some point as i see it!

Totally agree SS1 this will rebound strongly at some point. Fear is a powerful emotion & that is what is being played on here. A 40 year old business with this history will not go to the dogs on the basis of a couple of nonsense RNSs. I will load up on this tomorrow or later in the week. Just want to see a bit of a rebound first. Catching the absolute bottom doesn't bother me. A few pence saved is nothing in the grander scheme of things! GL

Main thing in the short term is no issues with liquidity. Fundamentals very solid here! I don't think the loss of a contract which PFC may never have been awarded in any event justifies a 30% devaluation of the business!

Branson, yes bizarre behaviour from this today. Poker provides logical explanation of buyers/sellers churning which makes sense. Should be interesting day tomorrow. I'm sure the shorters will try to drive it down further but also think that lots of buyers waiting in the wings at these levels!

Lets face it Poker. How many shares we seen this type of nonsense on in the last year & look at them all now: NEX; IAG; RR; MRO. Looks like an opportunity not to be missed, but who knows!

Yes, good synopsis Poker. The whole day looked a bit bizarre to me tbh, & quite frankly i'm fairly pleased with that close. I've been umming & erring about a very large buy here at these levels as i do think this is way overdone. Bit put off by the lack of the FY results but my instinct is that they may be received positively now. I'll be watching this tomorrow with interest to see if it's stable at these levels. I've got a feeling the shorts may try another onslaught early on tomorrow!

when people say it has broken the support. There is no historic support level. These are uncharted waters!

Poker, anyone selling at these levels must need the cash badly. This could fall further, but i don't think much more. The behaviour today is so different from back on 15th January & the days following. Just seems to have levelled after 1st 20 minutes & done nothing much since!

Overall thus far i'm fairly pleased how this has held up today in the context of yesterday. Am waiting to see what happens early tomorrow but looking well steady around the £1 level. Will add here tomorrow if it remains stable or bounces!

This is being played by the shorts IMO. They did this on IAG after right issue. Flattened at 167, which everyone thought was low price then hit it again down to 157. I may be wrong but this SP activity is a bit unusual at the moment!

Slift that news was announced couple of weeks back about leaving FTSE250 & the SP rose. Has no significance at all really. Is only based on a company's mkt cap, nothing more!

Select, before investing in this or any share it is prudent to do as much background research as possible. Read as many RNSs as you can. Read the fundamentals. This stock is uncharted territory at the moment due to it's SP having fallen so low. Be aware this is a very volatile share & is heavily manipulated by short sellers. One bit of advice i would give is that this is not one for the faint hearted & if you invest remember not to invest more than you can afford to lose!

Select, today's prices are this companies all time ever lows. The share has traded above £17 in the past. Was originally floated at just over £2. Was trading @£3.50+ pre covid. My advice would be to read the RNS's. As many as you see fit & research the company website. This is a high risk investment but also high reward potentially. Noone should advise anyone to buy or sell. It is an individual choice, as Poker says. GL

yea usual old nonsense. Seen it all before on so many shares i been in. Bit of a bad day & all same names come in chanting silly prices. Pocket money boy will disappear very soon. I expect this will close over £1 & steady back up again. Nice buy at 99. I've got a bit of powder held back for next couple days to see how it pans out!
