CSB, it's intriguing how it all works. I was of the understanding when all the manipulation goes on, the protagonists start buying in big once they've sapped a share dry so the bounce happens. Here @101; RR 101; IAG 159(pre rights) Nonetheless IMO this has to be one of the most hugely undervalued propositions about at the moment. I really don't see why this can't be a huge multi bagger over the longer (5-10 year term)

I'm expecting the shorters to hit Boohoo big soon, worth watching that one!

Just look what they did to Rolls Royce around rights issue time. Clobbered it right down from @240 right down to 101. Once they were done & dusted & rinsed enough retail investors of all their money, they pushed it right back up to 250 within a week!

In this type of market, the shorts are playing a high risk game & they know it! i can't see them attacking PFC at the moment. Results time could be interesting. They simply used the SFO announcement in January to instil fear in investors, hence a lot of panic selling!

Nomad, as i understand it, they don't physically hold the stock. They borrow it for a prescribed period, dump it on the market until they reach their desired short level (e.g 101 in PFC case). Then they give back the share they hold at 101, pocketing the difference in price between the 2 periods!

Everyone has different circumstances & risk/reward tolerance. It's never wrong to take a profit. A bird in the hand in worth 2 in the bush so the saying goes! Personally i feel that hopefully the hard work/stress aspect of this share could be over & the trend will revert upwards given the oil market sentiment. I think this SFO stuff may well linger on seemingly indefinitely but regardless of that there is loads of upside even with that hanging over them. I really can't see this share going back to the levels of the shorts jamboree in January (101/103). It won't go up in a straight line but with OP as it is & optimism continuing we should start to see this looking more healthy. I'm not really sure how the April results will be received. The market is bizarre (look at IAG). However the new CEO is in now so hopefully he will make a nice positive forward looking statement! GLA

i agree this is not one to top slice at the moment. Momentum just taking off IMO. Nice profit Bladey but too early is my take. Mind, i'll never knock a profit. Cash is cash!

JD we all been there & been tempted to cash out. Personally i'm sitting at a few grand profit now, but we all know the upside here is too immense to jump ship. I'm just staying put on these for a while as i only see this going north in the mid term.

Greed is right Nomad. Personally i followed this share for months & was going to take a position in October. The vaccine then scuppered my plan when it surged up. The RNS in January was manna from Heaven for me as it allowed me back in @ pre vaccine prices. I had to wait for my main holding (BP) to reach an acceptable price to top slice it & pump the cash from there into here this week. It is so easy to miss the party in order to save a few pence & it has happened to me a few times. I'm well pleased to be in big time at these low prices. This will only go up from here i believe!

Nomad, He's clearly looking to get in but missed the lows & doesn't want to cough up. He'll miss the party which i believe will be imminent. This should break the stubborn 135/6 today & hopefully leave that nonsensical price range behind!

Totally SF. I actually filled up on BP at not far off those 188 levels & had to review my holding last couple days due to the tax stuff. I chose to cash out a good chunk @300, not because i thought it wouldn't keep rising but i wanted the cash to be a realised gain for tax purposes before 5th April. ISA already full for this year with BP as well. I used the non ISA proceeds to load up here @126. I will shove them all into a new ISA in new tax year & just leave them be for a few years. This will be a multi bagger & if they bring back the dividends it will be a nice income earner too!

NSS, even with SFO issue hanging i've confidence this will be twice this price in 6-12 months. If SFO case gets dusted we will all be ecstatic here, guaranteed!

Between 2010-2015 this share was always in the £10-£17 range. Not saying it's going back there anytime soon, but gives an idea of the potential here & puts current price in perspective!

Don't forget this share floated in 2005 @230. It has been as high as 1755. Today's prices will be a distant memory a year from now!

This share just needs patience. Once this blows, it will blow away big. Keep focus. Hugely undervalued share. Fundamentally sound global business. Ignore intraday blips & have the party poppers ready. Every dog has it's day & this one will have it's too. Just give it a bit of time!
