Click, got to be a bit cautious though. At this price for sure, no brainer! could be a big rally tomoz on euphoria & sentiment but can't forget oil services sector is not good at the moment. Look at wood group. Sub £2 just over a week ago. Was over 350 earlier this year. So, market is subdued. Personally i think this should be around £2 very soon, assuming fine is ok ( which i think has been pre decided) For me, it's a case of sub 150-pile in. Above that: cautious until more news. The II's won't be back here till ADNOC back on board IMO!

If you can hold for any length of time i see likes of CEY, HOC FRES as super investments at these levels. Cyclical business & whole sector on the down at the moment. Don''t be surprised to see a huge rise here before too long. Could dip further for sure & any spare cash i have may well find it's way in here. Lots of decent bargains about. Difficult to know which one's best but Hoch been going for years. Very safe buy this!

Any turnaround in PM base prices this will absolutely rocket. Load up time for me. Even if this goes lower i'm not bothered. All the trading figures here indicate a grossly undervalued company. A rerate is way overdue.

JG, well i've sort of been comparing this & Wood's SP performance & impact of Covid etc. By my reckoning, with ADNOC back on track & other contracts following i would easily expect this to be between 250-300 within next few months. Beyond that who knows. Regarding the fine. I'm fairly sure that is already a known unknown. It would have been part of the plea bargaining process. The court case stuff is just a side show for legitimacy & officiousness!

I'm not sure some of the newer investors here fully understand quite how significant this news is. I bought in here originally in January after 15th Jan RNS SFO announcement. It dropped over couple days from 170+ to just over £1. I bought a few tranches starting @118. The SP then rallied over next few weeks up to the current level (136-137) It then tanked all the way to 90p in March on ADNOC news. Back up to 148 then right down again. Point is that Friday's news is the best news in over 4 years of nonsense & the SP at the moment is really still at a very, very low price despite Friday's rise. It's a big buy at these levels from me & if it stays remotely near this price i'll be selling other investments at losses if necessary to load up in here!

The Gamestop saga only happened due to a daft Hedge Fund shorting more than the overall shares in circulation. The clever kids on Reddit then buying loads made it impossible to cover the short sending the SP to the moon. Very unlikely to see that again!

take out any stop losses if you've got them set on here. The shorts are known to play nasty games on this one!

Monday will be volatile for sure. Possible short squeeze. we'll see. This has been a day/swing traders Paradise over the last 9 months!

The ADNOC suspension will be lifted in time i'm sure. ADNOC will want PFC back. The more bidders the better. I don't think they ever wanted to ban them anyway but the SFO stuff made it more of a political decision than a commercial one!

£2.50 by end of week a bit ambitious i think but i agree the level of fine is key here. Below £100m & this will fly. Anything below £300m would be ok payable over a long period. I would expect this to open with a gap up to mid 140s on Monday. Rally up to possibly 170s. Will be pullbacks for sure. A lot of profit takers will be impatient. Been a long haul for many in this share but looking good now!

That would be nice Denby, but this is the stock market & all i'm interested in is the SP rising nice & high & making me cash. If that happens then well done Iskander & SFO for getting their heads together & sorting this nonsense out!

I'm fairly sure that's what's happened here. The company couldn't trade effectively with SFO on the case so had to agree some sort of deal. Iskander as a new CEO would have wanted to get it out of the way i'm sure. End result is SFO look good & PFC can get back to normal. I'd imagine the fine imposed will be gesture politics nothing more!

haha, yep PFC is one hell of a share. Biggest earner for me overall this year by a long way but always been a difficult one to time. Never know really i suppose. Loop could still turn into a goldmine yet. Fundamentals haven't really changed since i bought in i suppose. Results will tell all i'm sure.

137 Hochschild. Mad price. This is going to rise big soon i'm sure. The results were so good. I think this is just Sept doom & gloom month. Gold & silver prices have taken a tumble but no way far enough to justify these drops!
