Agreed Jtan. The trolls don't impact the SP but they do spook newbies into panic selling. If he thinks the share is so bad why is he wasting his time on the bb for? because he wants people to sell!

you would have to ask why Porsche shows an interest here & spends time here? the answer is he wants panic sellers shares on the cheap. He wants the money out of investors pockets into his own. Spouting utter drivel!

The SP behaviour here seems similar to the SP actions in the weeks of speculation re RI last year. Then the SP steadily fell from @£2 to @180. RI was announced & SP tanked to an extreme low very briefly of 155 fuelled by panic selling & short selling. In the following few days the SP climbed right back again to 220+. My approach here at the moment is wait & see! i have a small holding @146 & will wait to see if a RI is announced. If it is i will load up on the drop! i am actually surprised that IAG have not released a statement yet & i'm sure one will be coming soon to end the speculation! GLA

ILT, panic selling is the worst thing to do in these uncertain situations. Yes OK the SP may drop further, none of us really know for sure but always remember why you bought the shares in the first place. Yes, there could be a RI & the SP may drop. A great buy opportunity to add to holding IMO. I saw lots of people lost fortunes last year here & on RR due to panic selling. The SP will recover RI or no RI. It is just about holding your neve & having patience!

today's drop is mirrored in aviation sector. EZJ, RR etc down more than IAG. It is not an RI speculation drop!

yep looking like a good top up under 40 levels here now. Good synopsis there bbrq. I think by end of this month the current SP levels will be ancient history here!

Please reread the RNS the 'uncertainty' was about the alzheimers test. All the SP rises here have been related to the C19 testing stuff. The alzheimers, sepsis etc are all extra ones for TB to compose nice RNSs about!

People need to understand that last year's RI was a desperate necessity. Any RI now would be for reopening, expansion, possible acquisition of weaker carriers etc. ie. All positive stuff. The insolvency threat has gone here IMO. BA is a great business & the SP will fly again soon!

It's a buy for sure. All the doom mongering is bottom feeders wanting a lower price. 145 is real bargain land here!

Loads of doomslayers on this board. I suspect all on here are either invested or are desperate to get in @ a pathetically ridiculous price. The current SP is lower than on the day the vaccines were announced. To me that is a bizarrely low level & i don't believe it will stay this low! This is load up time IMO!

when there was rumour of the Rolls Royce RI last year the SP tanked from 280 within about 2 weeks down to £1 on the day of the RI announcement. Lots of PIs panic sold & lost loads of cash. A week later the SP was back @250!

The MMs play games with these shares & fleece private investors to panic sell their shares for peanuts. They did it here & on RR, TUI. Anywhere they can create a panic the big MMs will profit big @the ordinary PIs expense!

IMO, the current financials don't warrant a RI. I was in here last year when the RI happened. The financials & the outlook then were far more dire. Another RI may happen next year if the situation re covid etc doesn't improve but i believe the current speculation is fuelled by EZJ's move & nothing more!

BB as i understand. You can still buy EZJ on Monday & get the rights. Has been badly communicated but i been through a few of these RI situations & i'm fairly sure you can still get in if you want!

If people really believe that a RI will happen here it is probably best to sell now as the price will almost always drop on the announcement. Then either buy back the shares on the drop & take up the rights or wait it out until the whole thing is finished & buy back in then. Personally i don't think a RI is imminent here but i may be wrong of course. I only have a fairly small holding here atm but will add accordingly!
