Newmont's work here might well be the rumoured target for a new JV. The Jan 25 RNS does hint : "Following the Company's own exploration and that conducted by Newmont on behalf of our JV there is a very significant amount of related data which TPJ is evaluating in order to determine whether there are areas within the JV territory which may be appropriate and suitable for TPJ. Of particular interest are areas containing high grade targets that Newmont have discounted as too small for their requirements but which could be of great interest to the Company to develop. Whilst recognising that the costs of exploring in PNG are very high, TPJ has engaged the services of an experienced team of geologists to commence the process of reviewing the project data. The anticipated report is expected to be delivered by the end of February 2013, and a further announcement will then follow." We haven't yet had that update. Fingers and everything crossed.

Thanks bumpkin for the dates info - was sure SLME were meant to be presenting last Thursday. Caveat - thanks for your update o/t on OTC - they've definitely got trouble and I suppose that's reflected in the sp. Over here, come on, surely these elusive flow rates will be released soon. Are they going to take the sp back up to 14p when we started waiting - IMO, good flow will only get up half way back up to about 10p short term. Too many setbacks for massive market confidence to return all at once.

I'm still invested but have much reduced on the bad news they've brought out. Just never seem to get this share right, it certainly has held up even with bad news and I see Shares are tipping them, again. I believe we've got until Tuesday 12th March to buy to still qualify for the divi, but fear I'll not have any more cash before then. GL All

the slowest 'quick' trades I've ever done. When I started, September was it, they were just getting the pipes laid in the water to the island and it was all going to be pumping away in about 2-3 weeks. Only a week to go then............flow rates .......... GL
