We've already heard that Dominion aren't supplying us any more updates as we're in default. That's certain. So, I wonder if k80 is just reporting that which we already know. He states : "Dominion are severing ties with us and are pursuing us for non payment, Gas prices are low and the field is not profitable anyway." As I said we already knew Dominion Have severed ties and of course they want what is owed to them (who doesn't?). Gas prices are down, are they? Oil is down more. 'The field is not profitable anyway' - that information is definitely not in the public domain so where has that come from, k80's imagination IMO. Yeah, we're all in it together and there's not much hurry or anything we can do about it at the moment. Let's hear what Silvermere and Andy M. have to say. If you don't get anything by Wednesday, Smasher, I'll ring him too. k80 - not having a go at you but wondering if you're being over pessimistic. Dominion are certainly not co-operating, why should they?

Looks good for a rebound at least to over 850p in the very short term I'd say. Haven't come on board yet but will check it out tomorrow. GL

It's a mess on here - yeah did notice the walk on Friday. Ominous when finance guy leaves. There's so much to be wary of with this company, mother nature being one of them, but when the top guys dumped last year "Asian Citrus was notified on 9 November 2012 that Market Ahead Investments Limited sold 50,000,000 ordinary shares off exchange at average price of HK$4.34 (equivalent to 35.12 pence) on 5 November 2012" - that was the big warning IMO. Gone downhill rapidly since but they've still got plenty of cash. No news on the 3rd processing plant that must be online now. Sp get's so manipulated with this share IMO, probably by the Chinese. The sp will be back barring more disasters.

Thanks for that update. AM always seems positive and willing to talk, but this is sure dragging now. We've got about 6 months before Aim will just throw us off any way. Also Annual Results for 2012 should be out now - it was May 23rd last year. We might get suspended if we don't produce them - lol.

Yep, guess you're right and the exchange rate is worsening. Pound is strengthening against the Rupee. A year ago this was about 39p - what'll it be May 2014? Robin hood, Peter Pan, Mowgli to the rescue.

taken a hammering along with other Japanese stocks the last week or so. Spoke to Baillie Gifford today. Apparentlya lot of shorting of Japan has recently happened and the Yen has strengthened against the dollar. The Holdings RNS on 22 May which was a bit weird Baillie Gifford holding went below 5%. This apparently was 1 client's holding in Shin Nippon, and they dumped the whole 2,714,000 on May 20th - were they in the know, or what? The RNS simply states they went below 5% but apparently they sold the lot. As the dollar weakens so the gold price goes back up(good for my miners) and the Yen strengthens (bad for Japanese companies) - it's a merry go round with Goldman Sachs and their mates calling the tune. Hopefully these will rebound, I wanted to go to cash a few weeks back but Baillie Gifford do not offer the service which I have complained about - JPMorgan do with my daughter's stocks and shares ISA ,where you can keep in cash for a while if you wish. Anyway, we knew it was too good to be true and it was. The big boys are at it again and they'll only let this up again when they are ready. I've learnt that if I'm on the right side again of some big games I'd better take my profit before they turn the wheel the other way. We've certainly lost the last few months gains, hope it turns around soon.

Sounds fairly poor to me. Got a bit of cash still plus 1) Vietnam - joke; 2)Barrick, Wamum - that's sold for $750,000; 3) Morobe, Newmont - dead?; 4)Crater sold £135,000; 5) Manus, Newcrest - no news; 6) The future- dilution or nothing, PNG too expensive, elsewhere, still searching. Anyone any further comments?

BGS finally had a tumble today - my God it's risen fast. I've got them tucked away in a Bare Trust handled by baillie Gifford. Only thing they don't do is allow to hold as cash for a while. If they did I'd have probably put it all on the side after about half way through this glorious run and have missed some of this latest steep climb. Had to have a few profit takers at some point, just hope it wasn't because some of our Japanese firms have hit trouble. We'll be the last to know, unfortunately. The Tsunami took it's toll but then we started to bounce and this current Japanese QE is brilliant. Hey I've just started investing in JFJ too - £50 a month for 1 of my daughters! Cash position solid; acquisition paid for with cash; trading as expected; generally performing well. I've been holding a couple of years or so now and there don't seem to be many fireworks or bombshells with this company. Was hoping it's medical specialities would take off OR be taken over. Meanwhile it plods along unaware of financial crises, pog, or any other pitfalls. No divi and no take-off or takeover au moment. Could do with an analyst upgrade or something to get it noticed/moving.

So Athol(M&F) are indeed due their £750,000 on 1st July 2013 but must have got very little interest (coupon) because of the delays. Anyway, if they want their 'pound of flesh' on July 1st, they are going to have to kill the golden goose. Otherwise, we need re-financing.

These suspensions can turn out very nasty though - I've just gone through ANGM and NGL. Fingers crossed. When I spoke to AM yesterday(seems like a lifetime ago) he did not give me the 'zoomer' impression of hunky dory and did, to be fair, say things may not be able to be sorted. He sounded to my ears like someone in trouble - lets hope we can get through this. (funny how often I need the word 'hope' now with this share)

Yeah, I'd forgotten about their investors - "Mineral & Financial Investments Limited, formerly Athol Gold and Value Limited, is an investment company in the natural resources sector." They are also Value Ltd which I thought was a different entity. One of their big investments is Ascot mining which was suspended from GXG market but I think now thrown off. It may well be that they are more keen to keep this afloat than we are. You may be right that AM is trying to do some hard bargaining but I hope he's not bargaining with the whole company.

As they and Value Ltd hold 88% of this loan it surely is promising that they have come out with their RNS after only 40 minutes elapsed from ours. On the other hand, perhaps it shows there is a big disagreement between the 2 sides and Mineral and Financial(M&F) are keen to make their point that they are still negotiating when it seems AM & co have given up. These RNS's cost about £150 to release I believe, so M&F must think it's worth saying from their point of view.

I don't think us Pi's are sure exactly how much we owe Dominion - why should it be £80k, that's just the sum not paid up for the shares issued. The Dominion money is very important but the £750k is the big money owed. AM was very reasonable and talkable to and he stated he is very hopeful of getting the finances sorted this week. However, he stressed that it is not a done deal and perhaps the big finances cannot be sorted. Let's hope they can

I too spoke to him today, on zoomer's advice. Very personable guy, willing to discuss everything he can openly discuss. He's certainly not making any promises and doesn't say that anything is in the bag yet, however, he feels financial news should be forthcoming this week (but he thought that last week he said!). The workover is continuing but as we are in default, we're not getting all the updates on this from Dominion. The £80,000 failure was the catalyst for the problems but there doesn't seem much point putting this money in(presumably by the directors) if it's going to be swept up by Athol Gold and Value Ltd in July. Talks are ongoing with them he said. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That is surely the big one, with Athol and Value, and will decide whether we sink or swim. So, it's definitely a binary situation and the next RNS on finance will determine the result IMO.
