Found I've still got some ACHL in an old ISA tucked away in the bottom of a creaky old chest in the dusty old attic! Interesting discussions on citrus canker, the RNS does seem to play it down but are they trustworthy? From the RNS : "The 18.4% decrease in the production volume of summer crop in 2013, by comparison to the production volume supplied in the first half of last year, is due largely to the effect on the Hepu plantation of the unstable weather conditions experienced during 2012 which has led to an extensive infection of citrus canker, a latent infection amongst orange and other citrus crops which is for the most part controllable in normal weather conditions but to which such crops are at much higher risk during periods of heavy rainfall and typhoons, such as those experienced in 2012. The infection resulted in a significant volume of premature fruit drop in the summer crop." Don't know too much about farming especially in China but how come most of this year's (2013)summer crop has prematurely dropped off the trees already? Doesn't late March seem a tad early for harvesting this year's summer crop? There is so much this management know way before they let it out. To be honest, the more I think about it, I don't trust them any more. Anyway, still in and waiting for news on the new production unit due to start production this April, although they never mentioned how the December trialling went,

This IT has been brilliant the last 6 months. got some for my kids about 2 years ago, and they've doubled their money now. Japan may have a lot further to go IMO.

Cracking results - market to respond IMO.

These Aim stocks take the biscuit - excellent RNS, as far as I can see no other relevant factors i.e. finance, delays, excuses, nothing. So why does it go down, nobody likes it and nobody likes Aim anymore. Maybe, on second thoughts, it's really not moved just the late UT has taken it down a tad which it'll probably reverse up on opening. Pathetic, though to be honest, I wish I could wake up every 6 months and look at the sp 'cause looking each day is a nightmare. Longgboy - don't let me put you off, don't think it's humanly possible for this share to go any lower.

Big sell of 1.5m shares @ 12:32 today. Can't believe why people want to sell up and realise their losses today. Ain't we just had a good RNS? Surely no-one is cashing at a profit. Can understand a few Cypriots are short of cash but not many in here surely - lol.

Concur. Plus the figures don't totally add up : From 8TH Feb : Total oil production, comprising both the Lineynoye and Arbuzovskoye oil fields is currently 2,600 bopd. This rate does not include any production from well 112 which is currently shut-in for long term pressure build-up testing, or the 300 bopd currently lost from the two Arbuzovskoye wells. Today we're up to 2800 bopd only yet new Well 105 produces 160bopd and well 102 back up to 380bopd. There should be more increases plus well 112 to come I think. Anyway, I would like another of my Aim stocks to recover to where I bought it - most are at losses. God knows what would happen if any of my stocks had a really bad RNS, they seem to be all issuing good ones and ....nothing happens - lol.

Going back to last November : PetroNeft received notification on 20 November 2012 from Henderson Global Investors that it holds an aggregate interest in 43,790,232 ordinary shares of €0.01 each which represents 6.79%* of the issued share capital of PetroNeft. They only held 43m then! Obviously actively buying and selling. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Excellent RNS today, muted response from the market, and all the 10% guys are out already. Aim is getting me down. Dried-grapes, hope you're right. I mean surely this company has now done what it said it would do and the results have been as expected - yet the sp has halved since October and lost 33% since poor RNS on 8th Feb before today's massive 0.25p rise!

Great results - if these results aren't already predicted, this is going to get quite a boost today.

This looks like it will provide some value to TPJ if nothing else comes good but realistically this 8% interest is perhaps not worth a lot at this stage(Fraser never thought it was worth hollering about). Morobe(after Newmont) is where we are really looking for a new JV and that's where big news might come.

CEO buying that many shares - excellent news. Riddler - can't find anything on the v.busy GC except KN's comment @ 7:15 today. Results - don't think there's to be any further results published till May?

Wonder how much the sp has been walking down to meet this placing price, although it's walkdown overran. Massive increase in shares - 55% increase in total shares by my calcs (35m up to 55m). It's definitely better than the usual placing discount anyway. IMO will back up to above 20p today, probably @ 8a.m. I need them to get much higher, my last buy was @ 21p but my average much higher.

Exactly the same reasons for me - laugh, I could cry! We can't even blame Fraser anymore. Apparently Papua New Guinea has got lots of gold, it's just a pity we can't find where they put it.

Spoke to 'William Vandyk Northland Capital Partners' (Nomad?) and he states the company is no longer in administration and although there is no guarantee the shares will yet be re-listed, today's announcement is another step towards this, giving the control of this subsidiary(CNGC) back to the director's. Various meetings, e.g the one not quorate last week, have to be held and legalese things got through, but the big hurdle is the Bod being able to show they have sufficient working capital to make this a going concern. Anyway, very hopeful IMO and shares could be relisted within a few weeks, all being well.
