Ibug, at least on the fantasy share market you don't have to pay a dealing fee.
Penguin, you have to have had an entry point before you need an exit point......so your post doesn't apply to ibug
Wizard, what about " the Surrey syndicate " or " the road to horse hill " or even
" the Sanderson legacy ", joking apart what a great author.....nearly as good as Swizzy Abbott and Cynderliar, I think they're published by Penguin books from memory.....have a good day and happy perusing.
Ibug, so you don't dispute that UKOG were referring to the same issues, so your criticism of them was unfair.....so it appears the " flim flam " accusation better applies to you.
P.s. UKOG appear to be capable of writing an RNS in their own words.....also in perfect English.....and without any bad language

Ibug,
"The reason for this direction is that the appeal involves proposals giving rise to substantial regional or national controversy ".....
UKOGS RNS....... "As *questions* regarding the UK's gas supply and record high gas prices have risen to the fore in recent months "
I would respectfully suggest that the " proposals " in the first sentence and the "questions " in the second sentence were referring to the same issues, i.e.:- the current questions/proposals being raised in the media and public domain, although this does not fit with your negative agenda.
Ibug, you saying you never saw any " industrial"activity only goes to show the weakness of the protesting crowds as far as the transport/congestion argument goes, the point in question (which you did not answer) was the possibility of the drilling sites affecting the price of houses in the area around them.
The nimbys can't use that as the reason for their protests so they have to make up stories of earthquakes, pollution, noise, disruption, conjestion, air quality, upsetting the local travellers/wedding venues and spoiling the beautiful views of the local landscape......oh and also the much talked about "climate emergency" that they're all contributing to on a daily basis.
But no, nimbyism is about DON'T DO IT NEAR MY PROPERTY.........DO IT AROUND SOMEONE ELSE'S, you're ruining the value of my house don't you know.
That's a NIMBY.
There are true ECO activists, and many who pretend to be for their own reasons.
It's a funny old game.
Ah thanks ibug , so you're saying that the drilling sites have no impact on the house prices in the immediate areas around them. So all you nimbys have nothing to worry about then, so is there another reason for all your negativity?
Most of my cash is in property so I don't have any worries but thanks for your concern.......careful not to burn your " no chicken chicken burgers "....enjoy the sunshine, sunshine
Ibug, thanks for answering my question, you have satisfied my curiousity, so it's ....not in my 3000 miles away back yard, I see.....I wouldn't have put that answer but as you were so stroppy i did,
You getting angry doesn't bother me in the slightest, and no I'm not trying to get you banned, why would I?
I find much of your comments informative and interesting......don't believe all you read about me from certain individuals on this forum, history has proven them to be a tad biased
