Penguin, with regards to your 21:32post you say that no one knows if water injection will work , you also say that production is being dropped to maintain (manage) the water cut, so if/ when water injection is allowed, surely when the "taps are opened" there will be an increase in oil production and whatever the increase in water production is it will be used for the injection process. Therefore why should it then stop an increase in oil production.
In the past you have commented of UKOG possibly not telling us of the possibility of much earlier water incursion, could this be a possible reason for the rapid earlier decline you mention .
You have also stated in the past your thoughts that maybe they might only want the water injection as a way of disposing of the produced water, but realistically it is a possibility that it will serve both purposes, but as you say it might not work.
Only one way to find out, and if it does work it could be the catalyst for the turnaround of the company's prospects.
