I don't find you interesting NH, just a bit sad and bitter.

The market is usually not too far out. So there is a 15% chance that the deal could fall through and then the price will probably fall back to £5 ish.
Personally I wouldn't invest just to get the 15%.

Perhaps you can explain why you never comment on the 31 shares you own but post hundreds of times on one that you don't own.

Totally agree HALMA, I have about 65% winners, you just have to accept the losers and move on. Out of interest, what is your simple strategy?

I really can't be bothered to do all that, I'll stick with my momentum strategy, in general it's worked very well for me for many years.

Well done with your success VP.I agree, there are many different successful strategies. However "belief" is a bit like "faith", it doesn't really have any meaning in a strategy.

I've sold these after a disappointing 34% loss. You can't win them all.

At least I won't have to listen to the nonsense posted on here anymore.

According to most on here it's all down to market manipulation. If they are so convinced the market is crooked then I really don't understand why they bother investing.

One of the main reasons I have been successful is to accept my limitations and be prepared to sell at a loss. Losing stocks tend to carry on losing.
I never have any emotional attachment to a particuar share, I sell after 12 months and then move on to the next investment.

Bought in here based on good positive momentum.

Sold out here now after a very nice 54% profit over the last 12 months. Momentum seems to have reduced now.

"Faith" is useful for religion but pointless for investing.

I have always bought OCDO when there has been good momentum and I have very done well out of it. I'll stick to this strategy.

It is impossible to call the bottom, it has fallen nearly 40% in less than a year so if you'd been buying in at between £19 and £29 you'd have lost a lot of money.

Still here, I hold my shares for 12 months. Looks like this might be one of my losers but you can't win them all.
