It is a bad strategy to hold on to shares because they have lost money, falling shares tend to continue to fall.

Of course you have a choice, you can sell and buy something with better prospects.

A 70%+ premium was a fantastic outcome for PIs. Anybody who bought after the initial offer was taking a gamble, sometimes it works out as with Morrisons, sometimes it doesn't.

Don't think you've been on here before BANNOR so not sure why you've suddenly appeared gloating about your alleged sell, why not mention it at the time ?

Now sold out with a 39% loss. POG has been kind to me in the past but not this time.

I have now sold, nothing against DRX but with my strategy I only hold for 12 months.

Thousands of people buy and sell shares for thousands of reasons. Ignore the daily noise and look at returns over the longer term.

You shouldn't get so emotionally attached to a share, nobody wins all the time, there are many variables which we can't account for.
