Yes I am holding but only a small part of my portfolio so no great damage done.
Of the shares I am holding this is by far the most ramped. I've held PMO a number of times over the tears and it never fails to disappoint, I suspect this time will be the same !

But but but. This is the most undervalued stock in the FTSE. It's a coiled spring, shorters will burn. I must have dreamt that it's fallen 34% in the last few months.

What made you buy them ?

I think there are a number of forecasts about, the UN 2017 report states 9.8 in 2050 and 11.2 in 2100
The 47 least developed countries have a birthrate of 4.3 per woman.
By 2100 the number of people in the world over 80 is expected to increase by 7 times.
In Europe the birth rate at 1.6 is below the required level for generation replacement.
This will result in mass migration to developed countries.

You are correct, nobody ever mentions the fact that the world is over populated.
It is the major cause of global warming.
In 2050 there were about 2.5 billion people on the earth, today it is 8 billion, by the end of the century it is expected to be over 11 billion.

Yep, my portfolio would be decimated if it i wasn't overweight in tobacco and oil companies and making some money on the horses.

ESG not doing so well now.

Not a fan of buybacks, I would prefer the dividend, then I can decide what to do with the cash.

I was only asking LTI for a simple yes or no !
So basically it's a gamble that the share price wil go up.
Personally I would prefer the dividend, then I can decide what to do with it.

A buyback for cancellation reduces shareholders equity on the liabilities side by the same amount on the balance sheet.

It needs to use cash the same as if it paid out dividends. The share price will remain the same after the transaction.

But if you buy shares then cash goes down and so does market value. The share price will remain the same.

Same logic applies for dividends.

Good news today for those holding OCDO. But remember this was over £29 2 years ago so most long term holders will be well down.
It has been my most profitable stock but I've only bought it when it has shown good positive momenetum. I may be in next month.

I think I read somewhere that 1% of companies accounted for all stock market gains.

It would appear that holding long term is not wise.

Also, in the long term we are all dead !

The first £100 per month should be charged at the old rate, any usage higher than this should be charged at the current rate.
This will encourage us to use less whilst protecting the most vulnerable.
