However based on you selling OCDO after it had fallen nearly 80% from it's high then maybe you are not a genius.

However, shorting companies doesn't help them.

You can't time the market.

y11 - as you say no logic, probably just the randomness of numbers so it doesn't make sense to do what you do.

I would think investing in FXPO is more beneficial to the average Ukrainian than shorting it.
Apart from the moral questions about shorting, in the long term share values go up so there is much more risk shorting than investing. Also the potential loss from investing is 100%, from shorting it is unlimited.

You are missing lots of opportunities by just concentrating on OCDO. Also cash is rapidly losing value due to inflation. I'd much rather be fully invested.

Value, I do find it odd that you make so many comments on here when you are not invested. Are you invested in anything ?

CHRISTO4, you must be a negative person to be shorting. There are thousands of shares to invest in, you must be able to find something positive to invest in.

If only I could, I used to have a nice single malt every night before I went to bed but since the doc's put me on a load of tablets that's buggered that up. I did have 3 pints one day but when I came out of the pub everybody had massive heads and the clouds had turned purple, very strange !

Why would buy backs be helping ?

Probably better than panicking and selling.

If somebody aks for the div date and amount then by all means provide them.
But is there a need for all the "good mornings" and "the weather is cold" etc.
By all means be courteous and polite to each other but it's like an episode of the Waltons !

Is anyone else having trouble with posting on here.
I frequently get to probably about 250 words then it’s like it times out and all the words disappear and it’s an empty post.
Perhaps 250 words are too many, more concise posts would be better.

But when you buy back the shares all you do is reduce the value of the business. The number of shares falls by the same amount and you are left with the share price being the same.
A pointless exercise for us shareholders.

I skip most comments on here !

Momentum works well for these stocks, sell when the price is below the 200 day SMA and buy when the price is above the 200 day SMA.
