I also can't see any purpose to it. The farm-in partner would be looking to gain an interest in the license, not Zephyr.

It didn't look much like it was being held when it was at 2p, or 6p.. Perhaps just simple supply & demand for the shares on negligable volume? Or is that too obvious?

Is someone's concerns can't be allayed by the CEO explicitly stating their finances are fully sound then they probably shouldn't be invested at all.

it's more than half glass empty. indi seems to forget we already have decent results from the first test. he's talking like it's **** or bust. and dropping 'fundraise' is a derampers favourite weapon, despite the ceo writing only a couple of weeks ago that their non ops production cover all business and operating costs.

In truth until 18p clears 10p is the path of least resistance.

You don't have to wonder about anything. You're choosing to wonder. Simply wait for the facts.

The broker will have had to manage the share price to fill a trade of that size. I'd expect it to kick on now.

I added this morning. I don't believe any upside is priced in here and technically it's very attractive at the rising 200 day moving average. That's an area that's paid a few bills for me.

It's a text book breakout. Traders falling over themselves to get involved.

There is no benefit to the company putting any numbers out now that might be invalidated once the test is completed in just a few days time.

How on earth could they put numbers in it when the test is on going?

I see it as a 'don't panic' message to the market given what's happened to the share price and the speculation. Not long to wait now.

Important to remember the market's never wrong, best not to argue with it for your capital's sake. 18p needs to hold otherwise this is a sell.

The only thing that matters is share price performance. This could be the next BP but unfortunately the BOD have repeatedly shown themselves unable to create value for shareholders.

It will make a difference though. It's human nature and you see it all the time - when an asset is doing well it is covered widely which creates interest. When as asset is doing badly there is no coverage/people choose to allocate their money in hotter areas.

Oil prices down here will also be dampening sentiment in the sector. Of course that will change at some point.
