Good summary IB, you only have to read across this board for the last few years to see that most private "investors" are clueless, this is a good raise, it's not going to flippers, most of it has gone to long term existing major shareholders. Miniscule discount strongly supported by the big players.

As for the retail offer, nobody is going to bother with that, it's a token gesture to try and make us feel not left out.

The same people moaning about this will no doubt change their tune when we use the cash to acquire Aldeia.

Offer is likely to be anywhere between 8-12p once they have strategically placed themselves where they need to be, don’t forget they need to buy out Al Marjan too plus a few other larger holders, unless they are all in it together which I doubt. Now if only we knew where the stock is coming from that they keep buying.

There’s still an opportunity for PI ‘s to make significant returns but I fully share all the frustrations.

It's not expensive at all, vibrant retail activity is only a negative for one party, the Portugese big boys that SAV have promised to "hold off" for until they've reached their target, so blatant. There is zero advanatge to having these big investors on board right now, all it's doing is suppressing the share price. The level of aggressive buying suggests a takeover is coming, you want to hope we get a decent price after all these years.

It's irrelevant right now, come back in 2 years with that argument. Open your eyes and take a look at how many dog companies have produced far higher shareholder returns on AIM and ask yourself why. Our BOD are failing to promote us to retail for a reason.

Wolster - yes I am, the bigger issue is lack of trading volume and manipulation over a sustained period of time to allow the Portugese investors to fill their boots. If we had a vibrant retail market with PI's engaged we would be sitting closer to 6p.

What's your counter argument of why the BOD have failed to promote to retail for several years ? Plenty of other companies on AIM, who are significantly less attractive manage to generate interest.

Why do you keep banging on about Spodumene prices when we are a couple of years away from producing anything saleable ? Irrelevant guff !!! Any commodity has volatility. Maybe post something positive like the fact that our overall resource is likely to double very soon.

It's rare that companies release news to coincide with an AGM.

I used to think the BOD, both old and new were clueless about how to engage and promote to the retail market, the current lot however are very clearly only aligned to the new large holders who are stake building, a calculated squeeze on PI's. At some point the SP has to take off though otherwise the big boys will be knocking on their door. I still maintain this will be taken private, the question is at what price, certainly well north of here, once they've accumulated enough stock it won't cost much to buy us all out even at a premium so it remains a hold for me as there are still good gains to be made.

All my recent profits from trading other stocks have gone in here recently to add to my holding.

Easyjet holidays are consistently cheaper than the competition by some margin, i've done 2 with them and each time saved around 10-12% on the same hotel.

I wonder if GC wants to get to 10% and a place at the top table ?
