What about a joint venture then?; from the NCT website, third bullet point....the April RNS gave a very big hint of current discussions....I do not expect a placing to fund any such move; Strategy "Northcote is mitigating the risk associated with the current commodity price environment by investing in scalable opportunities across the oil and gas value chain which are capable of sustained cash generation and can deliver attractive returns in conservative oil price environments. why would anyone pay nearly £0.25M at a 30% premium for 6% of the company? Possibility of under value maybe? Not crossed your mind - market cap less than £3M.....hmmn Who ever made that purchase knows more than you and I, for sure. I have an idea on that front but will let you concentrate on those who have sold "large" holdings worth £6-7K...........

I have a daily summary of the NCT shares purchased and sold since 21/3/2016 - that was when 1.42 billion shares were issued - followed then by the 1.58 billion shares issued on 20/4/2016. Both placings were at 0.031 when the share price was in the 0.045-0.050 range..... The 3 month data for all to see shows that in the above period 5.9 billion shares have been traded, broadly 3.629 billion purchases and 2.3 billion sales....it seems reasonable to say that the placing shares have by now found a home by now, and mostly at a significant premium to the placing price. The share price movement down since then is the usual AIM lethargy, no news etc There are some very large buys at both placings trades but one buyer after the first placing interests me; a large block of shares, 600M (100M x 6) were all bought on 23/3/2016 at 0.4M, 27% premium to the placing price. No notification of a 6%+ shareholder? Some how I don't think those buying at 0.04-0.045 range would have sold at a significant loss. imo
