Think is pretty clear that we will see Northcote moving to a oil services based business model - avoid the big swings/uncertainty of a volatile oil price environment ; Mexico has a low cost oil production base (mid $20s) so rather than contraction Mexico is expected to grow - not least internal demands; hence MX oil/energy related services opportunities.

thing is, I suspect that with what we do know is going on in Mexico and add in what we don't know currently....yet......Northcote will be the new MXO, much bigger in Mexico by a mile, lol Funny old world. For anyone not aware, RC effectively helped MXO put their MX structure together (that is how NCT got it's MXO 20% Participation Rts and 38M MXO Warrants) - imo he still has all his contacts to pull off some quite major deals in Mexico, let's see; something big is definitely brewing, imo : )

Jackal, everyone needs a bit of luck agreed this is not about luck - MX building blocks do not happen over night - e.g. Abraham Achar has been a full time NCT executive for over year; I expect he might be making his debut very soon, imo

"Upon completion, the Facility will commence operations...." why would operations start - that must means one thing - they have customers (possibly the $900K contracts they mentioned last year - which were put on hold); from the same RNS, 20/4: "Key water handling and treatment permit obtained in February 2016 by the CONAGUA (National Commission of Water) necessary for commissioning the plant will also allow MDF to move forward with service contracts previously announced in 2015."

as DC says, NCT already have a partner, no need for MXO to get a share of the spoils. Gaia are the MDF operator for the plant, NCT are the financiers - MXO could not bring anything to the table, so no added value. The plant is fully funded and very near now to being fully operational - within 90 days means as of now, around a month to go.... 20/4/2016 RNS Approximately US$380,000 will be immediately funded by the Company for purposes of fully completing and commissioning the plant within ninety (90) days. Upon completion, the Facility will commence operations on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis, with a processing capacity of 845 tons per day which represents an increase of approximately 20% from the 700 tons per day originally contemplated (please see RNS dated 29 July 2015).
