The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
A bit puzzled myself, can't see any negative in the report. Can only think that the growth of the share price since the IPO reached fair value. The only broker forecast I can see is still at 2.50. I managed to buy a few more at 2.53 and hope that with a bit of profile the price will easily reach 3.00 within the next few weeks. Seems to be a good solid company with increasing market share, and feel 98% this is a blip.
Sold my BDEV shares in May and later bought BOV shares. Big mistake.
Anyone have any idea why the dip today. Seems to have good news surrounding it?
The extra wait until the 11th August is not ideal, but it is just another 11 days in August when little else happens.....it will all come good. There seems to be a little over reaction from from some board members...chill! Do you see opay as an investment or just a flutter? Sit tight.
Any ideas of whether there will be a bounce back or are we in for the long haul? Would like to think SCS was oversold, triggering stop/loss and that the Conservative victory will generate consumer confidence. But, concerned that no one buys furniture in the summer, due to paying for the holiday. Any thoughts?
Do you know when the Q1 results are out? This share seems to be going too far in the wrong direction.
Any ideas why the dip? A bit odd that it dipped following a good budget for the consumer. Other car dealers seemed ok. Any ideas?
Too much speculation and hysteria around this share at the moment. The good fundamentals have not changed, so better weather the storm than sell at a loss.
It will bounce back. Just a few jitters with the change of CFO, IMO. There's a couple of wind up merchants on this board at the moment?!
I'm happy. PHTM always looking for new markets and increasing profits.
Looking at the fundamentals and the good news surrounding OPAY, I'm happy to stick with it. The fuss about the CEO will not affect the long term prospects of OPAY, it will just flush out a few short term traders.
Hoping for a steady climb towards the trading update in January. SFE seems to be surrounded by good news, should only go one way from now on.
I know the markets have been shaky in recent weeks, but why the sudden dip of Photo-Me? Anyone spotted anything?
cliffi, I'm sure you are not alone! A lot of good shares have gone south after producing good results in recent weeks. SFE is increasing market share, in profit with cash in the bank...not to mention the divi. No doubt it will catch someones eye over the next year and head north again. Definitely one to hold onto.....but feel bit frustrated myself and would like to see the recovery of this share sooner rather than later!
