Somethings coming. I’ve seen this behaviour before, just not sure whether it’s for good or bad.....

I’m dubious. Down over 7% and the board gets an influx of new LSE accounts and ones that haven’t posted anything in months and now links to informative articles....?

Interesting walk down of the SP on a relatively small amount of trade volume today. Like TC mentioned in an earlier interview; so many of these shares are held by long term and institutional investors that we often see a large fluctuation of SP on miniscule trading value - in this case - circa £120K traded knocks nearly 7% off the company value! Roll on the Environmental Permit, PPA and EPC news updates.....

Not sure what your thought process is regarding storage? - I don't think storage is their approach. As I mentioned earlier and also what TC has mentioned on a number of occasions, the suggestion is on site private wires or like mentioned in the RNS - PPAs to GFG Alliance companies. As for the company growing - Atlantis' portfolio is very diverse (research the Meygen projects (tidal power) and also look at their off-shore floating wind farm projects). Very interesting stuff.....

“SUP is the owner of a power plant in South Wales (the "Plant"), and following completion of the Transaction it is intended that 220 MW of capacity at the Plant will be converted to use an end-of-waste energy pellet as fuel ("Conversion"). The converted Plant, which is intended to enter commercial operations in 2020, will sell all its power under two 20 year power purchase agreements ("PPAs") to GFG Alliance companies”

It can’t be bought over by main shareholder as they can’t go above 49.99 (see Proposed Acquisition RNS mentioned earlier for further details - it’s a long one). With regard to the storage query - nothing I’ve read so far points in the direction of electrical storage capability. They have stated in a number of interviews and media that they are investigating private lines and data centres as one option to utilise the power. I also read somewhere that the power produced would possibly be used by CFG Alliance owned businesses (need to find where I read that - maybe the RNS). And as for my username - great film ;)

With regard to your second question about why SIMEC didn’t provide the necessary capital themselves - my counter question is, ‘why would they?”. They already own 49.99% of the share capital so are obviously very exposed should UPS or other Atlantis projects not come to fruition. To then put up an additional £170m adds further and unnecessary exposure. I assume it would also be a conflict of interests with regard to the UPS project as the terms of the loan would inevitably favour the SIMEC Group over SIMEC Atlantis which is not what the original Partnership was formed upon (see previous answer). With regard to question 3, do you mean storage capability in terms of electrical storage from generation or Subcoal fuel pellet storage?

6. RELATIONSHIP AGREEMENT

The Transaction is anticipated to be the first of a number of acquisitions from the GFG Alliance, subject to the right of first offer provisions described below.

Pursuant to the terms of the SPA, Atlantis and SIMEC have agreed the principal terms of a proposed Relationship Agreement. Under the Relationship Agreement, it is intended that SIMEC will give a number of undertakings to ensure that Atlantis can act independently of the SIMEC Group following Completion, including an undertaking from SIMEC to the effect that transactions, agreements or arrangements entered into with the Atlantis Group will be at arm's length and on normal commercial terms and the majority of the Atlantis Board will be independent of SIMEC. The agreement will contain a provision that will prevent SIMEC from voting on matters where it has a conflict of interest (or potential conflict of interest).

Pursuant to the agreement, SIMEC will be entitled to nominate two persons to be directors of Atlantis after Completion for so long as SIMEC owns in excess of an agreed threshold and it is also expected that the agreement will contain customary confidentiality obligations and a standstill under which SIMEC will agree not to acquire in excess of 49.99 per cent. of the share capital of Atlantis after Completion without the approval of the Atlantis Board.

Absolutely oldtramp. That’s exactly what I’m after here; a slow and supported rise to each piece of news. We didn’t have the balanced volume today to keep us above 30p but another 5% added is more than enough to be happy about. I’d be very surprised if we didn’t see similar again tomorrow.

Completely agree. Very exciting time to be in here. The rise on Friday will have quite rightly attracted the day traders who will have made a very nice return. Some will have inevitably got a tad burnt on the inevitable spike Monday morning and could well be looking to get out at break even today when (if) this goes much over 30p - I expect around 32+ by close would be a very good achievement as long as it is supported with a well balanced volume of trades. I’m very confident and excited for the news flow that is expected here in the coming months (PPA, EPC, Permits, South Korea possibilities, MeyGen......) and very much looking forward to the continued chat on here

I couldn’t buy first thing yesterday morning and the same today when just trying a dummy trade. Can sell all for 28.3 though so that’s very encouraging. Could see a steady and volume controlled rise back towards 30p today

It’s good to watch a video from a couple of months back, especially when they talk about things that have now come to fruition. I’m very much looking forward to hearing who they select for the EPC contract but the most important news for me will be the permit approval from Natural Resources Wales. Lots of very important news flow to come over the coming months, not forgetting the possible additional news regarding the PPA and/or private wires facility.....
