But if the price really is artificially low, why arent other investors cashing in on the low prices; just the same if a banks were selling £5 notes for £3?
I havent been following this on a day to day basis but in noting that there is some optimism here in todays rise, is it the 'spread' which is accounting for the price changes or is it a 'real' upward rise? The current Share spread is a significant disincentive and often points to brokers giving themselves extra 'margin' when a share is not very popular or is particularly risky.
If all shareholders sold and there were no buyers, who would the sellers be selling to?
When you say '3-5 years you will way more than treble your money' , are you aware that there were many saying just the same 3 or 4 year ago when the prospects seemed much more certain and great wealth was just 6 or 9 months away. Since then the share value has dropped 70% and the outlook in all honesty looks a lot less certain now. Make no mistake, nothing is certain or even close to certain here and this is much more of a gamble than an investment. IMO
That was me, just cashing in whats left of my £25KEmed investment.
The 200 target can be seen by clicking on the RSA Broker Ratings 'button' above.
Anyone know why Barclays has a price target of £2.07 on this when all the other brokers are half this? Are they operating on a different time-frame?
Apologies for last post- Wrong Forum, Should be BHR
I feel entitled to comment negatively after seeing my investment drop from 13p per share over a few years. I am entitled to be cynical as I have seen targets missed month after month. Do you want censorship on these forums ? Why try to gag people who may have an honest and legitimate message, I am not blaming anyone but myself for losing money as I have always known this is a gamble. I would however welcome a sound argument of why BHR's history with this share is something to be applauded as you seem to suggest.
The banks ruined banking shares by creating public revulsion, forcing the government to act. I am in shares for a profit but not at any price.
I cant quite work out if this latest 'market news' and recent other news is good for the share or not ?
I suppose we have to wait again for something to happen to see this near 20p again, Shame after the recent rise. Hopefully the falling price of of Nickel is already well priced into this share otherwise we might struggle for a long while yet ?
Its looking good overall I should say. We just want that reflected in the share price but most of these AIM BBs are filled with people who have been waiting Months and Years for something which they thought would take days and weeks ? I am one of them.
Re David Lipton of tips tracker.com Is this yet another tipster I must learn to avoid ? Seriously thoughj, apart from possible stock market meltdown, Character looks good at this price. It has cash, it is to start its own toy production, Childrens Toys should be the last thing that people will stop buying at Christmas when money gets tight, and, It makes a profit & pays a good dividend. Pity I cant afford to get back in untill and unless my other shares show some improvement.
No significant change in share price but you would think that the Turkish election would have nudged the price up if anything. I guess that the election result, although not yet confirmed, has been pretty much factored into the share price over the past month or so ?
Well, we need that RNS before the share price slips back to where it was a couple of weeks ago otherwise we wont be gaining.
This rise really seems to have come out of the blue, or should I have said into the Blue. Anyone know why ?
Directors buy not long ago. Nice increase today so far. Things dont look too bad.
Are we still holding out much hope for Turkey to 'come good'. ?
