French Connection Group PLC (FCCN:LSE) set a new 52-week high during today's trading session when it reached 34.90. Over this period, the share price is up 6.67%.

Korvet, yes a merger would work, but I can’t see it with Rolls as they don’t really need too and they have always been independent and they are doing very well on their own, so I guess they will carry on that way. Reg, yes, I think I agree with you Bombardier the most appropriate but will it happen, who knows. SP 410 excellento it could go to £5 and beyond I recall that Rolls Shares were hovering around the £5 price in 2010 and they are currently 1184 that not bad going in three years although they have never paid much of a divi . BAe haven’t done quite so well for various reasons but they do pay a good dividend. If the sp can stay above £4 we are in with a chance of some growth. Next resistance price (1) is 416.8 and resistance (2) at 437.3 Let’s see what happens on Monday. Good luck all

Yes agreed, but it takes time and the SP is going in the right direction. There has been more buying on here today than there has been for a long time. So I can only assume that the general consensus of the interim although not brilliant is as good as can be expected in the current financial climate. It’s a very honest statement with no exaggeration which has to be applauded. The new finance director could well have an impact on this company as he will no doubt have contacts and he brings a wealth of experience with him. It would be good to see him buy some shares though. I am happy that the SP it going up and there is some activity it’s a good sign GL all

This looks like a great opportunity with the SP at this price. Also the brand name FCUK is so well known. It has to be a contender for a turnaround. With 29.75% of the shares held by institutional investors and the fact it’s on the main market makes it in my book somewhat safer than any AIM dreamer share. The new finance director, who is very experienced, could really help in turning things around. I guess it up the BOD to work some magic and with some fresh blood in roll of Finance Director, now maybe is the time. GL all

Good article Lancygeo “Back British” indeed Drifting, I beg to differ re dividends. I am somewhat looking forward to them hitting my share account on the 3rd of June and until then I am happy for the SP to hover at current levels to enable me to buy another trance with the dividend income.

Yes I agree the SP does seem to be a bit stuck at the moment; I think it will head back up towards the high 390's before too much longer and yes Korvett a great divi play. I also feel that whilst we continue in recessionary and uncertain times, with tin pot dictators posturing in parts of the world, a big defensive company such as Bae will be kept very busy indeed.
