Hell guys and thanks for your comments. Gs I am currently not in BRIT and have been looking for a good entry point. I did have a limit buy set up at 237 but took it off. I wasn’t around on Friday afternoon to buy in. Also thanks for your views on Esure. Hotentot, again many thanks for your T/A thoughts on BRIT and as you say, you’re right it’s in no man’s land, and not really enough time has passed to make subjective conclusions. London Stock exchange and investors chronicle are currently not providing interactive charts on BRIT. The Uncrossing trade on Friday evening was unusually high and according to LSE the buys outweighed the sells by a huge amount. It could be getting ready for Simon Thompson of IC to re evaluate it due to upcoming dividend news but that is all guess work. So for now I am putting in a buy order for 234.50 Quester I agree with both of you. The problem is Pi’s hang on to the so called experts every word and tend to obey their advice to the letter. This can be of an advantage to us more discerning investors by ignoring it completely and just wait for good entry and exit points using our own F/A and T/A (Plus I am sure half of the time they have an agenda) Hots T/A is very good indeed and so is Gs F/A but like you say these guys give tips but usually the timing is wrong. In my view it’s all about crowd psychology. These days I work retrospectively I look at tips wait two or three months or even longer and make my decisions on my own analysis. The problem is “experts” can mess up a share that you are holding, which is why I am beginning to think it’s not worth hold anything for long term Sadly there isn’t any where to put your money long term with a decent return on a invest and forget basis. So for now we do the best we can

Any glues guys, was it just profit taking and with such a small freee float it moved the price or MM's knowing something, for Monday? The first store will open later this year with 15 planned by the end of 2015. The two partners are each investing £12.5m in start up costs. Great trades everybody today. X-O I’ve always found them excellent for execution only and their website platform is simplicity itself. It makes HL look like a and old dog . HL is a lumbering archaic bag of bones compared to X-O clean and simple system. Xo do stop loss and limit trades but don’t do automatic sells at a higher price EG buy at £3 want to set Automatic sell at £4 they don’t do that. They allow T20 trades of double of what is in your nominee account but you can’t do T20 in the ISA account. Dividends always arrive on time and withdrawals arrive in your bank within a couple of days. Their afterhour’s prices on your account are often wrong so it’s best not to take too much notice of them!! And the website spends some weekends being updated ( so you cant set limits but they give you notice) Admin is always polite and the trading desk is also polite but they don’t like you phoning them up if you are on the cheap as chips £5.95 internet account. (but I frequently do if I am out and about saying my internet is down and just pay the extra phone call charge. All in all it’s a great platform for frequent trading or long term hold come to that. Yes you are right about CFD only (I still haven’t got into that yet) GS ok i hear you with TRP will get back in

Did a quick day trade on TRP for £30 profit on a 118 p spike (will buy back in later today ) sold half of TSB for £143 profit. tried to buy a load of BP this morning but price shooting up, will try later. RR no sadly not, sold out at 1069 was suffering from cabin fever of three red days and went a bit early, fortunately I only pay £5.95 per trade, so I made a bit. What was weird about RR, it closed at 1010 Wednesday night on large buy volumes. It’s almost like MM,s wanted to let certain people buy in at that price in the last few minutes, knowing it was going to open up much higher in the morning? I did better on TW as I had quite a few of those. XEL punishing me due to funding, bond issued two days after I bought ( bloody oilys ) VOD still got some potential ( when it gets going) Still hoping to get BRIT at 2.38 Also hoping to get AFR in the 237 238 price band at some point . I am wondering what LLOY will do tomorrow on TSB float day as I am still holding? GS QQP I am staying well clear this type of share (for me) gets too much emotive attention which makes it too unpredictable and can go any way at incredible speed. Just a word of caution, WH Smith is the most shorted share by funds on the stock market with almost 10% of the company’s shares being shorted. The market obviously thinks WH Smith is going nowhere. The shorting has been going on a long time. If she was that good wouldn’t WH Smith be more successful? Just an opinion
