GS ill take another look at Ashtead. I m not in any shares at the moment on the SB board Cant quite get my head around the market today even my currency pair which should have bounced of support didn't. Plus arent we supposed to get an int rate hike from the Fed any day soon? Hot, I do so much on line, that Ive given up on free virus software. I pay for Panda Pro 2015 it doesn't cost much but its streets ahead of any of the free stuff about a £10 i think

Yes Ashtead very good but i think i missed my chance it all happened in the first half hour of trade. One to keep on the watch list though. Hot went long on the FTSE this morning, not looking too good at the moment

Hi guys I decided to stay out of rdsb all together. Like you said Hot Brent and US oil still tumbling. There is talk of Brent Crude dropping to sub $40 a barrel!!! On the positive petrol getting below a £1a litre in the new year. Eto dropped heavily again this morning . I would be guessing some big money will be on the short side now and for a good while yetc . When I get back I'll chk out the % of shorts.. Hot I think your tesco timing has paid off. I had a dabble on the ftse first thing but got stopped out twice on a 7 points stop loss. Lost the will to continue then and set off to work. I am just going to day trade now on SB platforms and just buy investment trusts for my P/F. Well that's my current thinking. Gs i would be careful investing in ETO its been falling heavily for the last six months. There is something odd going on with that company. I got caught out the other week on a flash move drop that seemed very manipulated in my view. I know Hot is in it but just be careful that all. As that one hell of an ugly candle today!!! Good luck

Hi Hot, Gs, I sold out today of EZJ at 1728 I was happy at that as i had an average buy in price of about 1620. I might jump back in if it pulls back . Shop baby sitting again tomorrow, so first thing only trading for me. I am watching RDSB Its going down like an out of control elevator. I was thinking of putting a limit buy in of 1503 what do you think Hot? Yes the DAX 30 its like a tornado sometimes. for just thirty shares they must have some massive volatility. Morning all 7 stabs at the ftse and dax on short term RSI going both ways. Then I thought i saw an opportunity in RDSB but got it wrong so back at evens now. Oh well least i haven't lost any money lol Business calls this afternoon. Catch you all later good luck cavers

Blimey what a weird day got home and stated looking at charts about 8 oclock-ish. I couldn't believe the mayhem that been going off..............took 4 points long out of dollar /yen. Now just been back on and taken 4 point out of the DAX. The Dax has a huge spread on it and you would need to be in a decent profit just get beyond the minimum stop loss Not going to leave anything running over night ( that's cost me dearly n the passed) . GS your image of a barbecued Santa stuck up a chimney is enough to give kids a nightmares lol but an interesting analogy of the "Non Christmas rally" Don't worry about SB chatting Hot ( I enjoy it) like GS said is a free board

Hope you cracked it Hot even for a few points. I looked at it at about 8.30 but gave it a miss. I closed my short on TCG for a point or two Also had a short running on Yahoo but got stopped out by ONE quarter of a point just before it turned tale and tumbled you can imagine how i felt >>>>>>>>>>> Bummex Working tomorrow all day so wont be on the B.board. Hi Hot been in and out of indices all day using tight stops and small scalps and happily in a reasonable profit. Dax still very jumpy. I hope you got a good swing out of it

Standard life UK smaller comp was tipped in investors chronicle on the 4 September this year as it was at a discount to navi price at 321. It might be a little more expensive now?

Mondeo decent motor. The sales reps always had them. Now they want Bmw or Audis . A wierd day for me lost out on the Dax but made a bit on the first rise in rdsb. Also running a tiny short on a well known travel agent. . Gs... Hot never gave me his emai!!! Hot investment trusts I am a great believer in them. Personally prefer them to funds as they are more tradable i understand them better than funds. I do have a couple of funds though I am ultimately trying to build up a whole world range and whole range of investments types eg gilts bonds an peer to peer int swaps etc.. I currently hold CTY...SMT.....HDIV I'll check out your potentials and get back to you. Gs Ezj did really well today
