Hot my PMO suspended order got actioned this morning on a buy stop at 34.49 on a March contract (you know the weird one, the buy stop you pay more than the current price). Any way currently a few quid in profit. I bet lego is pleased it been released from suspension Good luck all

Hi guys, Brighton down south or London by the sea as its called. Yes GS i have been there several times. I was down the lanes yesterday, loads of fantastic eatery's. Astonished to see so many people wandering along the sea front. All the cafes and bars are all open on that bottom part near the beach. Brighton has a real buzz about it. Hot, nightly calls after a while, you do it sleep walking and stop counting the number of times. lol Nice to see my SBRY S/B showing a healthier profit Also llyods. GS i see that the government have postponed the llyods SID sell off until market conditions improve. Not sure what effect that will have on the SP will need to watch it

P/F and S/B shares down again I am sick of shares for now and trading in general, nothing is working! So i am off to Brighton for a few days booked into a hotel and might see if i can get out and do a bit of sea fishing. Yes i am back. and dam miserable for it. Nothing but bad news on the telly, no hot sunshine, and no swimming in the sea, no sitting in nice bars watching the world go by............. humbug !! cant wait to get away again!! Gs yes llyods doing well. it has to push up to 67 on Monday then keep going beyond............. then we might get 72 and 73 At 73 probably a selling opportunity then a buy back for next resistance. Hot ,Gs thanks for posting that Hot i sometimes see a Vix graph in Investor Chronicle mag along with every other graph in the world. Option traders tend to have an advantage on us pi's as they use puts and calls to hedge, also on the whole they are professional trained. I know we can trade puts and calls on IG but i don't really understand it well enough to engage with it. I do believe though that the big option traders tend to drive the markets, us pi's and chartists tend to be on the periphery. A useful article though and Brent being the benchmark!! lets hope it doesn't drop down to $10 a barrel or we will all be stuffed but as always a little ambiguous. On a more positive note guys i won £25 on the premium bonds the other week that puts me in profit, bizarre isn't it when pure luck beats years of investing knowledge. Good luck all

Yes Gs, lloyds under the circs did ok. It now depends on the general market. If the bear trend carries on but the market can turn on a sixpence. Who knows???? Hot why do you say batten down after tomorrow? ............Do you think the bear trend will continue and for how long?

Stocks tumbling !!!!!!!!!! Decided to pick up two lots of Lloyd's today one batch for my actual P/F and another for the trading account buying price 63.74............ Bought on .......low price............... techs hopefully turning for the positive? Fundamentals................ growing dividend... 5.6% yield....... strong capitalisation ..... ..government reducing their holding..... The hopefully Sid sentiment when shares go on sale to public and ramp up!! ........am hoping any way also pick up some SBRY just on the margin account at 2.32 ... good buy in price......... strongest of all the supermarkets. good luck all

Hot.....what no gs since Saturday. Where the devil is he? I put in a order after hours last night for some PMO on a March 2016 contract at 19.20 obviously didnt get filled as the shares have been suspended. Useless IG though won't let me cancel the order as they say it's now not available online!!! I'll have to hang on till I get back then phone them. It's not an issue as such but as you know unfilled orders to buy/sell eat into your equity. Feel really sorry though for PMO holders Ps don't hold out much hope for your begging letter getting anywhere. Lol Pps.... my share pick / competition...... purple bricks is falling like a pile of house bricks l!!!! How long have we got to make good is it a year? Good luck all
