If AAAP become part of the plans for AfriAg Global, LGC Capital and House of Hemp, you won't be calling the company a dog of a share. As the only London Main Market listed company in the above stable, there are certainly quite a few synergies. The results are due very shortly and DL is in South Africa this week. Let's see what happens.

I note the LGC announcement this morning regarding the Viru deal and that the partner is providing services in lieu of cash as their part of the deal. I can see a similar station with AfriAg where we provide the logistics and distribution and not necessarily half of the �3m investment.

I also see there are some significant changes taking place in SA in an attempt to drive out corruption, with many prosecutions planned against corrupt officials, etc.

Kenny, I know that you have been following the LGC story in detail. Given the various deals that LGC have announced in Canada and Australia, how big is the HoH deal compared to them?

Did DL say in which part of this week he was going to South Africa? Feeling a bit more confident than I have in a while with this investment. Could this be our week. Also, we may see a trading update for the business, which should show further good growth over the previous year.

If the House of Hemp deal is signed this week and the terms are good for AfriAg SA, then the only way to get exposure is to invest in AfriAg Global. If DL, as he has alluded to, moves AfriAg onto another exchange which has 'real' online trading then we should see significant interest. If the above comes to pass, the share price should move up very quickly.

Kenny, as you know, this is a �3m investment by AfriAg and LGC. If it is the signing ceremony, I am sure it will receive a lot of coverage and may finally put AfriAg on investors radars. We can but hope.

Possibly, but this is potentially a huge deal and John is the face of LGC, IMHO.

Yes, it looks like we will have the HoH deal signed off next week, which ties in with the 6 month time frame. AfriAg may finally get some recognition....

Kenny, you may be right, but that is not what our last official formal RNS states: "The Transaction LGC and AfriAg have jointly signed a binding agreement with the House of Hemp in South Africa, for the sole and exclusive right to acquire a 60% beneficial interest in the House of Hemp and upon signing this agreement have committed to make an initial payment of CDN $19,595 within the next two days. LGC and AfriAg have also committed to pay an additional amount of CDN $37,000 by July 28th to House of Hemp for next month's (August 2017) general overheads, salaries and growing facility lease payments. LGC and AfriAg will continue paying CDN $37,000 monthly for a period of six months to keep House of Hemp fully funded while completing the transfer of interest documentation and to allow for sufficient time to complete investigative studies on the most cost efficient ways of commencing scalable production. As part of the transaction, LGC and AfriAg have also committed to secure the necessary CDN $4.9 million estimated to commence large scale trial production within the Dube TradePort Block D greenhouses as soon as development plans are finalised." The agreement was entered into on the 18 July 2017, therefore we should be updated on proceedings if not completed by 18 January, IMHO.

UKOG would like to update the market that it has requested to cease trading on the NEX Exchange, which will become effective as of market close on 31 January 2018. This is due to the low levels of trading in UKOG's shares observed on NEX over the past year.

Hi Joebop, yes, I must admit, it is a funny name for a trust fund. I invested here purely on the back of the main market listing and the fact that in my view DL now has effective control of the company. As you are no doubt aware, DL is spending a considerable amount of his time currently on LGC and recently was in Africa to visit the House of Hemp facility. I believe the deal with HoH, AfriAg and LGC will complete shortly and I am expecting AAAP will figure in the mix somewhere. I have a considerable investment in AfriAg Global, which is going nowhere at the moment. IMHO, most of this is down to the listing on the NEX Exchange which for the majority of brokers, does not afford online dealing. There is a possibility of a tie-up with the two companies which would give a lift to both companies if it is on the back of the cannabis transaction. I certainly don't think DL got involved here just to let the company trundle along and I am hoping for some positive news when the results are released. Hopefully this will be at the same time as last year, early Feb. Are you invested here or just keeping an eye on the company.

Kenny, as I have said many times, I think a tie-up with main market listed AAAP is very compelling. There are too many synergies for it not to be given some serious consideration. Especially when you listen to DL talking about that business and the ability to expand.
