Hi blueblood, I think most on here share your frustration, but in the absence of any communication from DL, LGC is actually providing positive updates about AfriAg SA and their 50/50 venture with House of Hemp. With a 40% holding in AfriAg SA, AfriAg Global is set to reap some significant rewards, and as far as I can tell, will not be providing any further funding to achieve this. As you say, the six months due diligence on House of Hemp is now up and both AfriAg SA and LGC should be providing an update to their shareholders. I am still at a loss as to why DL is maintaining radio silence on both AfriAg Global and AAAP. Both were heralded by him as having fantastic possibilities, but the silence continues. I keep sending him Twitter messages and have written to the company. They are very aware of the NEX Exchange issues, so let's hope we wont have too much longer to wait before some news is forthcoming.

Yes, as you say, he has adopted radio silence on AAAP as well. However, as he maintains the businesses are doing well, albeit that was many months ago, one can but hope we will eventually receive some good news.

If we don't get some official (RNS) news from AfriAg Global this week regarding the House of Hemp deal, I will be very disappointed. It is now approaching the six month window for completion of due diligence and the expiry of the monthly payments to HoH to cover overheads.

I suppose a lot will depend on how the numbers come out for last year. In 2016 the company lost �433k, so if there is significant improvement there and the company confirms positive cash flow going forward, then coupled with other good news, interest may return here. As you say, the shares are ultra cheap at the moment, so any buying should see a decent retrace. Not long to wait until the results if the company adhere to the same timetable as last year.

I am sure you are right Kenny, and most likely all will be forgiven if we receive a blockbuster RNS announcing the signing of the House of Hemp deal following the completion of due diligence. Couple that with a move to another exchange and we may finally get to see some true value here. One thing is for certain, the share price should rocket if the above comes to pass, as there are very few shares available at the current levels and most people's break even are a lot higher.

Kenny, I'm almost tempted to buy more, but I won't until DL spells out his plans for the company via an official RNS. It is just so annoying that it is LGC Capital that is promoting AfriAg. Meanwhile our company stays silent and DL does not respond to legitimate questions on his chosen method of communication - Twitter.

This investment has huge implications for AfriAg and yet the share price is lower now than it was before the announcement. Once the full implications/benefits are known I am sure we will see a lot more interest here. However, there would be a lot more interest now if we were on a decent exchange. Come on DL, you said you would do something about this if NEX wasn't working. It clearly isn't.

I liked this bit from the report: John McMullen, CEO of LGC stated; "Our due diligence is proceeding very well, on schedule, to plan and we are very excited about the potential of this project to add significant value to LGC shareholders, AfriAg (Pty) Ltd shareholders, House of Hemp, the Province of KwaZulu-Natal and the South African economy. LGC's site visits to Dube in Durban last week with AfriAg management, advisors and legal representatives was very encouraging and confirmed the potential of this fully operational 424,000 square feet glasshouse facility. This agri-complex is considered absolutely fit for purpose and ideal for the cultivation of medical cannabis and hemp products. Management engaged actively and positively with all parties, including holding detailed discussions aligning all parties to the vision, mission and strategic objectives of Dube and TIKZN. The development team are working very hard to satisfy all the conditions put forth by the South African government, and once they are satisfied we believe we will receive the appropriate licenses and growing will begin almost immediately. We believe this can be achieved during Q1 2018."

Hi Kenny, I have not seen that article, very informative and worth reading. Thanks for the link. I expect this will get a lot of coverage when the agreement is signed and will hopefully put AfriAg in the limelight. Tick tock, tick tock.

willec - I think it seems pretty certain that the RTO will not complete until Oyster Oil & Gas list on AIM, and Polemos are able to get their money back with interest and hopefully a capital gain if they convert the loan into shares and are able to take advantage of the warrants. The listing of Oyster is outside the scope of Hamish Harris, but he has a vested interest in pushing for the listing of Oyster to take place asap. I have no idea what the hold up is, but Michael Wood's sounded very confident when he said they would list in Dec/Jan.

Forward statement from the interim report: Outlook This business is starting to see some traction, as we come out of the dismal position the company had found itself in over the past few years and now the outlook for AAAP looks strong and exciting. We are pushing the underlying business to increase sales and improve efficiency. New bank funding arrangements are now being reviewed to enable the Company to increase raw ingredient stocks so that we can meet the increasing demand from our core customers. Importantly, the board is reviewing a number of new and exciting potential acquisitions to bolt on to our existing agri platform.

Good to see a little bit of volume on NEX Exchange. What are the chances of AfriAg, LGC Capital, AAAP and House of Hemp forming an alliance in South Africa I wonder. DL involved in all four companies thus keeping control of the production, manufacture and distribution chain. Even better would be a merger between AfriAg and AAAP and gain the benefit of the London main market listing.

megapix - have fun at the PREM meeting. Should be interesting! I really do think that some sort of alliance could be formed by AAAP, AfriAg, LGC and the House of Hemp. Even better would be a merger between AfriAg Global and AAAP which would certainly ignite interest in both companies given the main market listing. DL is involved in all of the companies, so that would alleviate any protectionism at the top. The next few months could prove to be very interesting and of course we will have the AAAP results and the HoH deal finalised.
