We know Peel are the Developer and are "in Charge", but that does not answer the question why the fund raise is not yes being used for the stated purpose of "expediting " the purchase of long lead time components. There must surely have been an agreement between PHE and Peel to allow PHE to make those statements.
Hi Stumbler . Re your 12.15 post Tuesday. Sadly I have to agree with your frustration at the apparent lack of progress since the beginning of this year and the predictions at the investor presentation webinair on 19th January . This together with the fund raises of £5m in December last year and £10 in January this year. It was stated in the webinair by Tim Yeo that the specific purpose of these fund raise was to start procuring "long lead time components" BEFORE "official" financial close. The original estimates that I remember for a DMG for electricity alone and for electricity and Hydrogen were £15-£20 M this was for the original 25 Tonne waste to 1 Tonne Hydrogen but even so I was surprised that Tim Yeo described this £15M raise as "a bit of money" towards the total cost. I think that PHE should give an update on the projected cost of the present FOAK DMG so we know where we stand. Also I don't understand why PHE cannot announce any contracts with manufacturers for these components as stated above. Why do PHE have wait for Peel "bean counters" Dr A, since that money(£15M ) is in PHE's hands? Tim Yeo said "We hope financial close will be by the end of Q1 " and the RSN of 14th January for the £10M fund raise also says it was to "expedite significantly financial close targeted to be reached DURING Q1" . That is now less than 2 weeks away. To paraphrase our Prime minister "Get DMG done!"
The "official" one requires an American accent it seems! I notice that Distributed Modular GASIFICATION is back officially as well! They obviously agree with me! Ha Ha. Considering you DON@T have a whole PR team behind you, YOURS was excellent Dr. I do agree however that the "official" PR team should start earning their salaries(or share options etc.)
While "interesting" jmhy ,it seems to me to be only a stop gap tech so H2 can become a more accepted fuel , particularly for HGV's. They say the ENGIN is much cheaper, than the equivalent Fuel cell / electric combination but that is simply because IC engineering is much better known and a mature tech in comparison to PRESENT day FCEV tech . This will surely change in the next 10 years or so. An IC engin is inherently less efficient anyway. They don't say what the running costs are in fuel . The repair costs will also be higher.
OK . I now see it was not from PHE ,so I am assuming it was Dr A's own work. Brilliant. My only point (not critisism) is that since Protos became involved ,the word Gasification or Gasifier has been dropped in favor of Generator. for DMG. I guess because gasification is confused with incineration in the minds of environmentalists.

Since you seem to know something about these Government funding auctions, can you tell me what the "strike price of £200" means? Presumably not what the company hopes to win!. I was invested in Atlantis before it was rescued/taken over by SIMEC but cashed in as they never achieved much support from government in spite of me hammering away at my MP. I came back in when it became SIMEC-Atlantis hoping that the Uskmouth project (which seemed to be going well) would boost the tidal side which ,like others ,is what I am really interested in. I am still hoping that the Uskmouth side will be the boost needed if no further CfD money is forthcoming
I would not argue with your analysis of the efficiency of the process ether Alfacomp, as it has a large number of stages for losses to occur, but the company say they can retrieve some of the energy within the stages to reduce that. In any case, their main claim is that it uses well established tech that companies in the gas industry are familiar with to maintain the plant and that they can scale it to cover time scales and power levels much higher than batteries at competitive cost. As I have said before, this is academic for investment, as the company is not listed as far as I know.

I have never posted under any other name on any board. I think this is the first time I have posted here since it became IES. My original investment was in Red T where I lost most of my small investment. I have since kept an eye on it hoping I would get back some of it under new management but so far I am still way under. I am still hopeful but frustrating to not see much progress.

Yes the graphics look very clever if I could understand Polish or German. Is that your own work Dr. ?The graphics I mean , or did you just do the translation? Is it originally from PHE in English? I do hope it helps with the Polish project anyway.
I don't think I was being picky alfacomp. Just speculating that a previous post that VRF batteries are a farely well established tech might be right and not classify it as FOAK and exclude IES, but I don't claim to know the minds of the grant admin. Well Highview Power which I have seen before is not hydrogen certainly, but nether is it a battery. It is cryogenicaly cooled air using the "spare renewable electric to convert it to liquid and then "releasing" the energy in the liquid by gasifying it again to create pressurised air to drive a turbine. Interesting tech which they say is "Our patented technology draws on established processes from the turbo machinery, power generation and industrial gas sectors. We source the component parts of our technology from large and established OEMs, so there is proven lifespan and performance guarantee." On the face of it, this does sound like a competitor for Invinity.
