Thank you TDM. I can assure you I am very much my own man (and paid by no-one) who has learnt from a lifetime of experience that a fool and his money are soon parted and to trust no-one . That being the case most observers will say well you shouldn't be investing in AIM then. I agree but I am so I will continue to raise whatever points I alone choose. I know nothing about supercaps, the stock market but understand that business is all about producing a product that people ant to buy and spending less than you earn. I also believe that most BODs dont give two hoots about their shareholders but more about their exit strategies

Well clearly Maxwell didn't get the message when TDK.AVX, Murata , CDE signed up . The more I hear about what delaying /avoidance tactics can be used the more I now worry about another IOXUS situation here. Still enough said I think we have all formed our views now

But there again wont this reflect the size of any award and the possibility of any ongoing revenue . I had thought that this case was the big one but now I am not so sure . I may be a technical amoeba but surely this point is relevant to ongoing CPX finances

Is what Monkey Wizard said correct ? In that Mazwell are no longer infringing CPXs patents ie its all about past infringements ??

In 2017 I wrote to CPX suggesting they investigate the possiblity of road side sensors which were able to communicate the prevailing highway speed limit. They replied The CAP-XX Electrical Engineering Group have reviewed your suggestion.

They have replied "that if such a sensor was possible the sales potential would be great. Unfortunately, even if such a sensor contained a CAP-XX supercapacitor, it would still need to be powered by an alternative initial energy source.
As the sensor you described will be stationary at the side of the road it cannot use energy harvesting. Therefore mains power would likely be needed and then you probably won’t need a supercapacitor". Does this recent RNS suggest that my idea is now much more of a possibility or does the same criteria apply?

Simple question what do CDE.TDK, contribute to the IP pot? It seems to me the only one that has made us money is AVX and there we took an up front fee presumably for a lesser ongoing rate. The sooner the Maxwell case is settled the better (for us not Musk) so that we can concentrate on production and turn all those theoretical sales into real money

That's fine . If you lot are so clued up on what is actually going on with this lawsuit but wont impart that knowledge well the best of luck to you . Trading appears to be say that the Maxwell case is a guaranteed in the bag win, what he does not say is why the SP is currently languishing in the 8ps. All sorts of maybes theories , possibilities , forecasts etc but it still doesn't change the SP. Basically the market lacks confidence that CPX will deliver on its promises

What is needed here is some interpretation of what is going on. I thought the final hearing was in Nov? But is that date only the beginning of the end ? What we want to know is when is the guaranteed end date (or at least an estimate). Whilst IP protection is deemed vital it does seem to go on for ages and bring a lot of uncertainty

Of course prices go up and down. As regards those with a vested interest in promoting CPX advising what fair value is well I would say "that's what they would say". As regards Ioxus I still cant believe how we were outfoxed so easily. Their move seems so obvious that there must have been some way of guarding against it. Did we miss a trick somewhere. As always when I give an opinion (and that's all is) you counter it by saying why am I invested here i.e. instead of critiquing what I say. Fundamentally, I have been in for 5 years at the same SP price as exists now and by any stretch of the imagination that does not represent a good record. Ultimately that can only be attributed to the board and or the quality and need for its products. I know CPX is a gamble but its my money and I can form any opinion I choose

Murata used to contribute about 50% licensing revenue so the first £500k? of the new ex Murata customers profit is wiped out . Apparently, TDK and CDE are nowhere near generating the same licencing revenue. Afte the Ioxus debacle, all our licensing eggs are now in one basket Maxwell and I expect no real SP increase until that news drops in Nov? . All the recent wins have not been quantified so are really IMHO meaningless in terms of generating confidence . I also found it strange that as soon as the Newlands decided to sell the price jumped and then fell back

AK may well be a brilliant engineer but he has headed up a company that despite large government subsidies has had what 15 years of consecutive losses. As regards IP this may well be necessary but to date it has not been very lucrative and he was outflanked by IOXUS (could that have been avoided?) . Now despite the deal of the century with Murata there is talk of losing 25% of their customers. AK many be a good engineer but is he a good business man ? To date so much has been promised but not a lot delivered. Lets hope 21/22 is "the year". PS Normal torrent of abuse expected

I don't care what the amounts or motives are the issue of two RNSs about the selling of shares by Directors/employees immediately before the announcement of results does not send the right message
