As to his attitude well In May 2018, when Tesla also faced some tough questions from investors regarding their financials, having reported record losses for the previous quarter, Musk simply dismissed what he called these “bonehead” questions and this led to a sharp drop in their share price. He simply doesn’t care. Scary prospect taking him on. Time will tell. PS price pulled back recently so now just about even. Still monitoring JH s prediction of 16p by Christmas...looking dodgy

Where is your evidence James H? Of course you want to believe that we are right and they are wrong. But where is your evidence other than its JHs opinion. We appear to have been outflanked by Ioxus and who is to say that Musk with his endless resources wont do the same . I always say you must learn to pick your fights whereas other commentators will say he has no choice but lets face the battle with Musk aint over till the fat lady sings. IMHO the best we can hope for is that Tesla buys us out. Always remember money talks

iwgrod. I agree with you entirely. But how many of us can say we haven't fallen into the same trap. Some of us play the market and have the discipline to take a profit. For me as I have said before its gamble money i.e. I can afford to lose it. As for my culture I dont worry about the things that are going OK I worry about the things that aren't . If that makes me a pessimist. So be it. I don't live in lala land and believe everything I am told . I question and challenge everything

My reasons for asking were because a couple of years ago the rebate was delayed and there was talk of an audit. Howvever FYI The Aussie R and D scheme is a self-assessment program designed to encourage industry to conduct research and development. It is a broad-based program that aims to boost company competitiveness, improve productivity and deliver economy-wide benefits to Australia. The research and development (R&D) tax incentive encourages companies to engage in R&D benefiting Australia, by providing tax offset for eligible R&D activities. It does not incidentally cover the cost of new buildings so the recent move is all down to CPX

Sticks and stones chaps . If things are as you say then why is AK not confident of recovering the award? Yes we would all like to get the award but I merely trying to understand the pros and cons of the case. I am incidentally thrilled with the recent rise but still in "negative equity" and have been in many of these situations before

Ioxus sold its assets not its debts. It might seem sharp practice but if its legal I don't who there is to pay us. Certainly not XS although we have a licencing claim against them

But way I am not concerned a about past expenses but future expenses. I am simply asking the question if an R and D company moves into manufacturing will it still continue to enjoy its past benefits having moved the goalposts

Not wishing to put a negative twist on things it would be useful to know what the arrangement/understanding is re the tax rebate as I cant imagine the Governement would underwrite a profitable company . Just asking as if lost this money will need to be replaced from profit

Musk/Trump are hard nosed business men who don't give a toss about anything . All they care about is the bigger picture which of course aligns with their agenda

JH I have said this many times ie we dont know what goes on behind closed doors. It seems the only time it gets made public is when they go bust and we get nothing . I suspect the Tesla decision when it lands will make or break us. A favourable decision will have to be handled carefully as surely the price would rocket

We are but a mere spec of dust in a cosmic wardrobe to Musk . I doubt if he has even heard of us let alone considering buying us . He's a big fish
