Incidentally someone raised the valid point the other day about trial by jury which was never answered. The point was that CPX have insisted on the jury trial but the Ioxus decision was made by the judge as it did not go to trial . The question is would the Maxwell jury know of the previous decision as matter of precedent or more importantly can CPX raise it .

That's what tends to happen when other parties repeat endless research of we could be into this or that. Business is simple its about making a profit. But all good fun, saves arguing with the wife (I never win there either)

Fine thanks Frac. All share investments are about understanding the risks . Aim is risky . What annoys me are the rampers who believe everything they are told/research and that the world is all about milk and honey. If we are to believe the hype the victors here are about to be catapulted into a different league. So as I say each of us must understand the risks. I am obviously more cautious than most as I have been in CPX for a long time and know that they have seldom delivered on their promises. Lets hope that record of achievement doesn't repeat itself in this case

Techie I dont always agree with what you say but you are absolutely right. There is no such things as a rock solid IP. There may well be one little word which can be interpreted differently. I was once involved in a case which revolved around the word ensure which was interpreted as "guaranteed" . While the indications are that the IP looks sound when faced with an opponent with bottomless pockets one must be at least aware that its a different ball game

Monkey. Sometime ago JH like many accused me of being a broker with a vested interest and no shares. So I proved I did and he blabbed . My point is TDK signed but we had no details provided . Then CDE signed but again no details . Then Ioxus caved in. These are positive signs although seemingly not worth a lot yet. What they do not mean is that Musk will simply roll over and give us what we want. I suspect he will choose to pick a fight in which case it could get hairy. he is seemingly a man who doesn't give a damn. I may be wrong but am at least open to the possibility

Sorry it down she goes. Can I ask if the IP was all about setting precedent wasn't CDE based on the same infringements. Presumably Ioxus caved in because they couldn't afford to go on . Musk on the other hand can afford to and will . I have no technological knowledge to who is right and who is wrong but as you say time will tell. Meanwhile the predicated take off in the SP on Monday has not happened

Some people on here appear to think we have just banked $4m in damages. In truth we have been outflanked by a cunning adversary to the extent that AK even admits we are unlikely to receive any of it. Hands up those that genuinely think Musk is going to roll over and give without first trying a few dirty tricks. While on paper things might look good in reality there is along way to go until we are likely to see a penny. This is David v Goliath and PS I know he won last time

My average is in the 6ps and I will not sell below that . It looks like we are getting there but I would be much re-assured if AK would say something . There does seem to be a concerted gathering of rampers who present a great deal of massive potential upside evidence for CPX. There are however a few of us who have been here before (many times) and who say "all that glisters is not gold". I sincerely hope the new boys are right as despite my perceived negativity I do have an awful lot of money riding on this share. Although at my age money is not as important as it it to those younger investors with mortgages etc. I am now away working for 10 days and hope to return to double figures

The only thing that matters is cash in the hand. There has been much talk about top notch legal brains and winning cases (but no details CDE ETC) . Then we have a win against loxus with details but seemingly no money . Now we have much speculation about how much the Maxwell case is worth to us. I will believe it all when I see money in the bank. Meanwhile it is all hot air, speculation and just words. The only person who knows whats going on is AK and he is not saying. Lets hope the herf continues to arrive on Monday. Better still an RNS

People What was CDE's settlement ? Commercial in confidence. two fifths of three eights of FA no doubt. What will happen if we lose against Maxwell (heaven forbid) ? Will this mean that existing licensees could challenge their licence. How long do their licences last for at present ? Are they renewable?

Sorry to disappoint you Kencarv but out digging somebody's garden and required an early start. Wonder if you will still have the same work ethic when you are 75. So somebody sold , so what and who knows why
