So what does mean in the real world ? We were supposed to have hired the best before so who is the new guy and why . If our case is supposedly so cut and dried why is this necessary. If anything it tells me yes we are not going to cave in but we are in for a long and expensive fight and there can only be one winner

I am afraid it is JH. There has been a lot of talk of the promised land via Maxwell Tech etc etc and I truly hope that will be the case. However I fear there will come a time when Musk will say "what is this irritating wasp buzzing in my ear called CPX" and then decide to stamp on it . Will that time come who knows and more importantly will we see it coming ? I just wish I could get my money back

Murata obviously were facing a huge loss after deciding they didn't want to carry on so it was surely a buyers market. Time will tell if it was the bargain of the century (all bought with our money of course). Covid didn't help of course but surely the success of this project is AKs final chance

3.14 Please enlighten me as I am perfectly prepared to be educated . Are you saying that this production line was previously be ng used to produce supercaps only under licence from CPX ? (I don't know if Murata only sold CPX supecaps). If the answer is yes are you therefore saying that the production line itself also came under the terms of the licence? Could it not be adapted to produce s/c other ten those lcienced by CPX.

So were there any other buyers in the market for it and what were the precise details of the deal. We can all look at things from varying perspectives . Virtually . Are you saying that the award in this case and the circumstances it was awarded in give CPX a caste iron unfailable guarantee that a similar case against Maxwell will succeed?. If so I transfer the tenner PC01 owes me to a bet with you. Incidentally I do see the negatives with with CPX mainly because we have had years of them (although not always their fault) . Not only that I have to put up with a crap board at BCFC who have been procrastinating now for 5 weeks only to offer the number 2 the job. Aaaaagh!!

So basically it sounds like enforcing IP can be an absolute nightmare . Having said surely CPXs experts know the score and the "rules of engagement" and they are employed to make judgment calls as to whether any given case is worth pursuing. So my take on it is that cases should only be pursued if there a better than 50/50 chance of winning and then from a company that is known to be financially stable. In CPXs case these judgments have to be precise as royalties are not a major revenue channel . Judgement calls have to be made everyday, its making the right ones is the difficult bit. I recall discussing the possibility of counterfeits many moons ago only to be laughed at. I still reckon picking a fight with Musk will sooner or later change this company drastically . Lets hope its for the better.

Sorry Nitram I have already proved what I own albeit to JH (myself?) of course . While the judgement well may be good for our general IP "well being" its money in the bank that counts and to date this case has only cost us money . As I say the real money game is now being orchestrated by Mr Musk. I sincerely hope it all comes good but somehow it never does with CPX

The question is was this judgement made because Ioxus gave up (and failed to defend) possibly because it couldn't afford it or was it because the CPX case was overwhelming ? Come what may I cannot see Musk being so submissive. He has the clout to either cause us a lot of problems or simply string it out . In this uncertain world how many businesses will have the resources to carry on with endless litigation?

Given that Ioxus has sold its assets but not its debts I assume they will simply go bankrupt. What needs to happen now is to quickly register a claim against XP who continue to produce Ioxus supercaps. All this seems so easy for infringers to get away with. But not even a mention from CPX. The real question is what is Tusks next move.

What absolute tosh People. The SP normally goes up and down based on supply and demand. Currently because the company is not updating us about anything investors think that there may be something wrong and weaken and sell . So who is in the wrong an investor for saying "please tell us what is going on its our money" or the Company for saying nothing? As a member of the former category I believe questioning those responsible is my absolute right . Its what happens in any company . Your view is that speculative positive comment is your preferred way forward. I do not criticise that but just believe better communication is the best way to improve confidence. Everything is about perception. Of course there are darker ways in which he SP can be manipulated and who knows if those are being played out here. If so we are just pawns in their game.

It does make you wonder if someone is flexing their muscles in order to teach us a lesson. If you watched the Amazon debate recently these big companies do tend to obliterate any opposition
