2x 345,000 sale (£1,000,000) late reported possibly explains the fall. Maybe and RNS to follow. Surprise they didn't look for a buyer rather than dump on the market, I suppose its some elses money so they don't GAF!

Something I just noticed is the institutional shareholding here is now 94%! after Max Royde former managing director of Peel Hunt, co founder of Kestrel and now board member of CNIC has beneficial interest in 22% of shares as well as Kestrel owning 22%. Looks like we are all tied in! Just over 5% free float shares. Thats must be us guys! Incidentally Ketrel who specialise in investing in under valued, low geared under researched tech companies also own 22% of ULS.

The CEO always puts in a firm case. Has yet to deliver the numbers that matter, profit. It does look at last that this could finally happen but hope next results can confirm this.

Hi IDG. You same to have done the same as me, except I'm really investing for my sons. To me it is really obvious how important it is that both these companies succeed for them and everyone to have a decent future. FOGB seem much more diversified, although not invested in cell meat at all. They only have two actual food producers in their top ten, the rest are a mix of sustainable packaging, water technology, flavourings and ingredients. aquaculture etc. ANIC seem to have focussed entirely on cell meat. So two very different investments in the same food production revolution. Jim Mellon's book MOOs Law is well worth a read and proceeds go to food technology, great pr work too. Very exciting . GL

The usual strengthening balance sheet. Paying off short term debt and 1.5 million to be spent on a marketing opportunity. Does seem a big discount but there seems to be more of a scramble than ever for cash at the moment. Fairly small dilution. Its an obvious strategy to take advantage of a strong share price performance but also it looked like some people knew or saw this coming. Its done now so lets hope they have the necessary to support expected growth

Although there are many Cell meat companies in the USA the initial market it looks like the main thrust for this market is going to come from countries that rely on imports as high as 95% in the Far East. Its going to be hard enough to scale up to meat that demand. We have already seen the urgency for that market with support from Mitsubishi and the Thai Union.
There is always going to be a period of adjustment after a placing, but the facts are that was 6 times over subscribed so it would not be unreasonable to assume there must still be a large pool of hungry investors out there. The latest post placing announcement about the 500% uplift in the value of their investment CellX Limited ("CellX") in 2020 demonstrates where some of these investments are heading as many draw closer to product to market and or IPO stage. The next valuation on the portfolio could be very interesting, plus an extra 60 million to invest this year probably.

Kestrel have a 27% stake in ULS, another hugely undervalued stock, although maybe value still lies more in potential at the moment.

Rivaldo I was having a look into JTC too and then had look at Kestrel as I thought they were something to do with employees schemes but turns out: We aim to generate superior, long-term returns by discovering, accessing, investing and driving change in under-valued and under-researched companies.
