Quite possible they have not finished yet but I see someone £100k in two trades, so I suspect buyers will be gathering. Ive managed to squeeze a third purchase in and its still drifting slightly down. Must be close to the bottom with interims and dividend round the corner surely.

This does look insanely wrongly priced to me . It has more in cash than the market cap and a small amount of debt. So many irons in the fire the risks look well diversified. Have opened a small position.

JpM actually cut its target to £12.25 but keeps its overweight rating

Nice upgrade from JPM this morning ‘overweight £12.20’ been on my watch list for a while and also liked Oakey’s comments amongst many others. Have used their service and very happy with it. Useful just for travel and interest on balances. I think Oaks right about potential and takeover before it reaches fully. Will be plenty of competition too I would think. Drip feeding a project like this with annual raises of £1 million would take a hundred years to achieve anything.. if he chose his successor Dr Solomon good on him. Its going to take someone with a track record of non dilutive funding raising a few million to get anywhere, as often said otherwise its just a series university projects.

Further to valuations . Paul Hill worked Adaptix probably cost Avg a total of £8 million even though they bought 82 percent of it for £3 million when they ran out of money. Magnetica only cost them an agreement to invest £3 million to merge with a company they already owned. Current guesstimate at IPO is £90-£140 million. They bought Haywood Taylor for around £29 million. Pretty sure they have multi bagged on that one! So there we have at least the equal to the entire Avg PLC market cap with 6 other companies for free!

Tariffs were cited by Keensight as a reason for pulling negotiations to acquire the group. In July Niox said they did not expect tariffs to affect business and in the eventuality that it might, would pass on any such cost with corresponding price increases. They also said they were in discussions with other possible offers but withdrew from the sales process. As we have seen with other companies the whole process of offers can be quite distracting and drags on for months. Clearly the company are short of its potential with its current new phase of developments at an early stage. It has been suggested that selling shares at the first whiff of an offer is better than hanging out for a couple of pence. That was certainly the case here, but it was never going to achieve an acceptable price. I suspect the board were hoping the Keensight offer might flush out more serious contenders. A sale might therefore still be an objective but there are a couple of possible developments that could push a successful bid to well over the pound mark like its involvement with Copd. So pretty surprised to see this volume of selling recently. Will be looking to add
