Correction: yielding 16 million per annum within 5 years. Thats just one product! Silly me
this meerkat is really pig****e crazy. following on from recent contract news they launch ‘ first of many’ new winterlight diagnostic products which is expected to yield £15 million in revenue within 5 years, having already wontheir first contract with it. definitely be loading up more when funds allow.
Capital reduction should be granted in the courts next week and maiden dividend in December to follow. Basically if you are not being taken over the market is not interested at the moment. Hence the number of bargain stocks around .
I liked this company a lot, having a small position a few years back. Been on my watch list again, but debt soaring from 14.9 million to 25.5 million raises a few alarm bells with ‘rapidly deteriorating market.’ Could be problematic with bank covenants. Will stay on watch list for now. Bloomin mine field out there at the moment
Fair presentation. The reality is there are not and have as yet been no partners prepared to commit financially. Basically because everyone wants to leave their options open with so many different companies at different stages of research and development. It feels to me that in a sense they are in a race against time with some possibly bigger and better funded competitors. That to me is the biggest risk, still 12 months from clinical trials. Although nanogenics is ahead, nuvec may have a wider variety of treatments eventually. A lot more patience required but the prizes are huge, and now if you did not know, we all have rabbit eyes. Keep nibbling the dangling carrots!
I see BATS have appointed a new HR head from the health care sector. Seems a bit like appointing a gas safety officer in charge of a concentration camp. Australia have classified nicoitine as a poison whether it is in an e-cigarette or tobacco that’s because it is and has been responsible for causing millions of deaths across the world and continues to do so, as a 12 year old girl lies in a hospital bed suffering irreparable damage to hers lungs implores people to never start vaping, which of course is One of BAtS big investments ,initially trying to promote them as some kind of medical device for god’s sake. how stupid is this country and our government?
How do you accidentally trigger a warrent?:) especially for £112. Amazingly there has been another couple of warrants for larger amounts this year. Its not compulsory is it? Been asking around about Good Dog Food, not much news about it yet. Must ask Pets at Home . They are quite keen I think. That would be a massive entry to market. Worry , worry . Worry. There’s Russia, China , Middle East, North Korea, Lau, not to mention the USA . Seems to be alternate days that the market is either worrying or thinking everything is ok . We just have to live with the situation and trade within it cos this is where we are right now.
Possible bid interest looms and they want to defend! How about shareholder interest?
The fact that USwealth manager, Charles Stanley have come on board recently is very interesting. Bit late to the party but mybe the party is just beginning. I Have been buying all the way up from 27p so have quite a sizeable holding now. Tried trading a few a couple of times but nearly came unstuck. There is not too much news expected till next update in March, other than product upgrade and home kit launch. It might drift till then as last year it did when they announced capital reduction. In the meantime AZN with a 16% looms large in the background. Its not cheap , but could be considered cheap as company grows and develops rapid cash generation. Gl
looks a pretty good offer to me either dept piled up and dilution to save its ****. wagamama was the only thing worth saving maybe that is where the value is hidden. the intention was to build it into a global brand, rolling out branches in us and europe and even a takeaway deal with sainsbury. big ambition sunk by the rest of the dross with enormous overheads. i thought the founder of wagamama might try and buy it back at a fraction of what he was paid for it. definitely not as good in value or content
Fantastic after the exercise of about 300 shares at 30p the company has another £112 to spend. Jim desperate to hit his target for the bonus at any cost to himself? Why would you exercise warrants when you can buy three times cheaper in the open market? The ruddy RNS cost more than the value of the wattents!
The trouble with ED is they are keep trying to justify why stocks they report on are doing so badly rather than concentrating on ones that are doing well. This is mainly because they get a fee. The particular problem here seems to be its hard to be that its hard to disguise from clients that their money could be doing better elsewhere. Apart from that it is really infuriating the way directors reward themselves with ludicrously generous share options for their lack lustre performance. As mentioned before their seemingly only gifted investor left the company a while back . You need to look after the good staff and sack the hangers on, fairly obvious who they are.
Promising contract news. More like this please
Great nuclear contract news as flagged up in updates if only the market would pay attention. Confirmation is Impressive none the less
I got the date right but the day wrong. Oct 16th is Monday not Tuesday. Apologies
Looking forward to hearing from the nano lips man with Nigel. joint presentation on investor Meets company next Tuesday.
Indeed DC. They have to let the world know they are a front runner in the Nano delivery game. Patents are all important and hopefully have done a boots and braces job on that. Gl Manoogle!
Good to hear about Good Dogfood launching by end of year. As more businesses moving to commercialisation, quite perplexing to see net asset value per share at nearly 15p! With a share price below 10p still. Anyone know of another stock anywhere near this kind of valuation? One interesting point Jim harps on about is the distinction between cellular ag and plant based food. He is a big believer in the new longevity movement.I recently heard about Blue Zones which are small communities in many different countries scattered around the world. These are often virtually self sufficient communities who’s citizens attain much higher levels of health and fitness well into their nineties and even hundreds without the need to rely on care health service because they are mostly in such rude health. One outstanding factor is diet. They eat around 95% plant based food and virtually the only meat is fish. Fish has a great reputation as good brain food. The needs to be a distinction between processed plant food and raw plant food because there is clearly a big difference for health, as with processed meat and natural meat. Another interesting claim is the benefit of including nuts in a diet. As well as the benefits of nutrients, there are claims it can slow or even reverse the ageing process. Need to see some real evidence on this. As I say really impressed with the progress here. The share price will sort itself out in time, unfortunately not a good time right now.
Ignoring the awful shareprice, this great news from Blue Nalu. Regulatory hurdle to clear path to production and sales. Withe USA consumption of chlorinated chicken should be a breeze. I believe I am right in suggesting this is Anic’s largest position in their portfolio at what will be 8% with various adjustments after the raise. This is simply a no brainer for Asian markets, which is why they receive so much support, not forgetting Captain birdseye. Question is will they Ipo and retain a share ? Obviously not near term, but this is encouraging to see this nearing reality. Be good to get some target dates firmed up. Must be planning for it by now
Firstly thank you all for your discussion and experiences. It is not my intention to inflame or berate people. I feel strongly that we need a better plan, even if it does appear a bit idealistic.
I recently came across a map of what are described as blue zones which are pockets of communities scattered across the world, not all particularly wealthy, where people live much longer, fitter and healthier lives without the need for the support of a massive health service. I can hear some already saying they would rather die of debauchery and lung or liver failure having lived a short and actioned packed ‘life is for living so live it ‘ kind of life. The reality is rather different as anon3 has so ably attested. My own family was almost destroyed by alcohol . I dont hold it against my dad at all particularly now I have a better understanding of what they went through in the war before PTD was recognised or admitted. I found a letter from him to his sister who died recently posted from an unidentified region in France. He wasnt even supposed to say he was in France apparently, Strangely he was literally revolted by the idea of smoking which was before the idea of its link with lung cancer.
I have no idea how accurate the figure are of revenue v health care. Whatever they are they are truly horrific and shameful. 70 years down the road from giving people the freedom of what they can do to their bodies ( and other peoples) I think it is one of the governments better plans to not ban current adults from smoking, but put in measures to try and protect the next generation. So what to we do? We let vaping slip in almost undetected with its addictive nicotine and noxious substances. Anyone care estimate the cost of care and medical research into this latest abhorrence as an excuse for giving up smoking? Tooth rot. Mouth rot, and lung rot the same as before. But people must have their freedom to decide at all cost, how ever much is spent on promotion and influence. Another product that can be produced cheaply for the masses and make fortunes for the few harmfully. Its just not logical. The mass food and drink industry is as guilty as you correctly identified LwHl. There most definitely is a better way and I am optimistic that we are finding it. We dont half make it more difficult than it need be for ourselves sometimes
