Thanke for yur initiative.It certainly deserves a response, and I would hope Musgrove has the sense and manners to take on board our concerns and address them, which should in turn help to make his presentation more successfull if he doesnt understand why the market is underrating his company. I dont doubt is genuine belief that a fortune awaits us under the Med somewhere. I'm just not sure what that belief is founded on, which is why I find total silence on ATI takeover since its takeover somewhat baffling. Meanwhile the heated debate on iii as to why we remain in nop serves to illustrate the utter confusion of investors in NOP. Our big partners in Gyan continue to drift up while Norpet partners continue to slide. That tells its own story. Still reasonably opimistic, common on Muzzer, not another sleepy 'Dave' presentation, lets have some guns blazing next week

I tend to agree. I found it a little difficult to offload some recently ( I had promised myself previously that I must take a little profit when they get above 5p old money again, and not done it on previous ocaissions not there were many!) just before I went off on a trip. I think the problem is one of liquidity still. Institutions must hold around 80% between them, therefore releasing treasurer shares should make them a little more tradeable in even fairly modest amounts.

I will be concerned if they do not answer these very reasonable questions adequately and in depth.

Perhaps they dont like my questions. Namely was ATI worth paying 11 million for and if so how is it adding to the NOP portfolio? How has it made dealing with the Italian officials easier as mentioned in the reasons for taking it over. Otherwiswe as you say, what have all the extra staff employed been doing given that Markwell was a dud, Po valley a dud, and Shell and Tullow are doing Guyann, Holland has been operating for a number of years, now downgraded, so no extra staff needed there either. They've cut down on west shetland and given up on Faroe and Greenland. That narrows the field a bit. But what they have left is very interesting and plenty of dosh to concentrate their efforts on in their now more refined portfolio. I like a plan.

to announce front runners for plonker analyst of 2012. On november 1st HSBA lead the way with their overweight recommenedation with .........£18.20. Closely followed by Barclays and Jeffries £18/£17 with Nomura a rather feable fourth on £16. But Alpha Value spot on with downgrade and £10.19. Obviously the word Value in their title a bit of a giveaway, Where as the others all obviously based their price on the starter menue at Claridges

Dont know if you read iii today or ever, but there was a guy on their chastising the sarcasm and moaning on the board, that by the end of the day they were all convinced he was TW or Musser himself. he made some reasonable points, but so did the regulars, such as ignoring shareholders, failing to to keep shareholders updated about what is actually going on etc. The point is as one holder said, he cant let go because the day he does the sp will double. Its like we are all bewitched! Its a great idea to get questions asked. I realy woild like to know hoe ATI has impacted on NOP, and in what way it has been usefull to us in light of the fact we have clearly beem unable to advance projects in Italy for official reasons as well as practical. A little more openess and honesty would not go a miss rather than the usual 'sometimes we are busy and sometimes we are not so busy' routine which they seem to think is a good enough update for shareholders. Might try ringing tomorrow if I get time.

And while you're at it slip him a question about how the 11 million rescue/purchase of ATI from one of his old board room pals is going at 85p a share, dragging the sp down a nice 30%. More shareholder value creation?

Pres is 29th november. I wonder if the entire board will be there. Would'n be much room for anyone else. What on earth are these extra people required for, They hired more people last year and did absolutley BA. I suggest we get as many sharehlders as we can to attend the next meeting.
