The GM-ES-3 well intersected a 50 metres gross section of oil stained sands in the lower part of the Bradypus fan which was not a target formation at this location although it is also within the main Cingulata fan system. A 325 metres gross interval of sandstones was encountered in the targeted Priodontes fan, but these were logged with no significant hydrocarbon shows. I'm not sure waht the target depth was. I thought it was 3 or 4 thousand metres. The 325 metres refers specifically to the Priodontes fan system. They are referring to two different ages of rock formation. I suspect Tullow are comparing notes with their west Africa find, which was what got them so excited in the first place. It is complex geology and probably a bit like weather forecasting. Did you know that the most accurate weather forecasting is by mapping previous events. Lets hope that holds good here too. All the best

I couldn't agree more. In this instance it is now Shell. I wouldn't know if Mus has been anywhere near Gyan. He has been the one bleating on about how much it is worth. It seems very strange to release his version in front of and without consultation and agreement with the companies actually involved in the operation. He gets it in the neck because he has been a total disaster. No other reason.

Read the tlw rns. Musser was not authorised nor had agreement from other partners. I think this explains why the sp is where it is now. The sooner he resigns the better

Tullow notes the announcement from its partner, Northern Petroleum plc issued at 11.40am today. This release was issued without prior notice from Northern Petroleum and without the approval of the operator or the joint venture partners. Although the Priodontes well has not thus far encountered significant hydrocarbons, Tullow believes that this is due to a trap-specific issue and has no follow-on consequences for prospectivity elsewhere in the block. Tullow also notes that the shows encountered in the Bradypus fan, as described in Northern Petroleum’s release, underline the presence of a working oil charge system. This well is now being deepened to a proposed target depth of 6,483 metres to target additional formations after which Tullow will issue a further update. Get a grip you silly old fool!

TLW is having the arsse shorted out of it. They had sidetrack issues in EA . Wsx is a giveaway. I would say this is a great buying op but for its management. If it doesnt get taken out now then clearly this is worse than we've been led to believe. There is clearly oil here. It may cost a ittle more in time and money to find it.
