Perhaps this is what Omar is referring to by people needing English/reading lessons? From the Commencement of Drilling RNS 2/9:

"Initial drilling will reach depths of up to 1,000 metres, with ****a phased approach designed to incorporate geological results into ongoing targeting.****"

They told us right there at the commencement of drilling that it would be in phases with later holes targetted based on the results of earlier holes.

They also later said in the 2/9 RNS: "Initial drilling will reach depths of up to 1,000 metres, with **a phased approach designed to incorporate geological results into ongoing targeting.**"

"A phased approach" - multiple phases i.e. phase 1 then phase 2..

"Designed to incorporate geological results into ongoing targeting" - i.e. decide later holes by looking at the result of the first holes.

In other words exactly what was announced today.

Yep a premium placing to let the 20 IIs and UHNWs in at say 1-1.2p is fine by me, that's how GMET went from a £10m to a £200m company in 18 months, you don't do that by dawdling along on a shoestring budget. Why have unnecessary constraints.

Indeed. As a thought experiment, today's sellers might want to think about what a company with Gorge as their sole project based on today's deal and with Callum in charge of exploration would be valued at by the market.

Programme Updates

Additional work programmes are underway to support the successful completion of the Shared Prosperity funded programme, and subsequent MRE and project economics updates. These include the selection of samples for metallurgical testwork, petrographic and mineralogical studies, and ore sorting amenability testing. These studies are due to commence shortly and are designed to improve the understanding of processing design, concentrate recoverability, and grades.

Interesting, because I noticed in one of the RNSs SML said they doing or are going to do metallurgical testwork, which in my understanding is primarily related to recovery rates.
