RE: Sunday share tips26 Jun 2023 08:58
That's a good summary post of all the positives that have just come out of the @THG newsroom and not one bit of Positive newspaper coverage over the weekend. On th product placement can also add that the MyProtein Pop Rolls went into Asda stores last week and that TOMORROW sees the MyProtein Ice-cream range into Iceland stores. (Credit to the Scotsman as they covered the last)
But from what was a "negative narrative" leading to the Matt Moulding Pond Scum post lets take it that No news is actually good news and if viewed along a continuum then it might actually now be moving to halfway to a positive news narrative. There is only so long for instance you can deny the massive improvements in Corporate Governance. The Chairman / Chief Exec role Moulding once hold in tandem, split with Lord Allen as Chairman, The Golden share now gine completely so no longer a 2 share structure, strong female representation on the Board with Sue Farr and helen Jones. Extremely strong ESG credentials also with recyclable products being used and offsetting through tree planting.
"Did not expect anything less, the press and media show there true face, part of the manipulation tactics.
Superb news throughout the week, and yet so far not 1 of the Sunday papers could write anything positive about THG🤣
Immediate release of Golden Share is a Material change, it is beyond huge, nobody expected it. No doubt there must be a reason for this move. Many hit peices over the years about the GS, yet when he gives it up, nothing! 🤣
In tough economic climate, a superb trading update, yet nothing.
Another heavyweight board member with significant 35yrs of experience, including 9 years at Unilever, nothing.
John Gallemore never bought any shares since IPO, spends half a million, nothing.
That is now circa 24million shares bought by Moulding, Chairman and JG in the last 12 months! Nearly 2% of the company. I bet there arent many LSE companies that come even close. Normally just a small buy of say £100-200k would be a huge signal. But yet £15 million+, no recognition again! 🤣
If market doesnt appreciate it, as we all know the inevitable will happen, MBO or PE step in again, as the fair value gap is simply too much, the opportunity is huge."
