If I was now to summarise the news we have been given on MyProtein since the start of the year then I now think it would take two posts. So this comes on top of a business that in 2022 was a global number 1 and had revenues of £675 Million. On 3xEarnings multiples that has to be worth approx £2 Billion. But what price the other established routes to market. Here goes and apologies if it spills over into a second post.

The recent 1/2 point Interest rate rise will no doubt help the Net Interest margin here given the strength of the Mortgage book. I see also another couple of Odey funds have been locked in to prevent withdrawals> the latter definitely seems to be a dramatic turn of events which seems to be helping the share price.

There are 6 Categories of Products that REVB are selling through LookFantastic / THG.

I just had a look and count through just 1 of those categories - Makeup Revolution.

There are no less than 240 REVB products being sold in that 1 category.

Has to be a counterplay against Horsefields appointment but more importantly to keep the numbers up and adding to them whilst pursuing growth. This is a lot of business and seems to be central to BOO's gripes.

Had been kind of wondering how REVB might replace the LF sales, actually thought the range was smaller, but I feel that bit more reassured now that they won't have to replace them.

23rd June RNS, here is what was said

"The Group notes the announcement released on 22 June 2023 by boohoo, stating boohoo's intention to include Rachel Horsefield (the former CEO of Beauty at THG plc ("THG"), a business with which Revolution Beauty has recently undertaken to cease commercial relationships) in the future independent board appointment process of Revolution Beauty. According to boohoo's announcement, Ms Horsefield "brings with her a wealth of direct relevant experience and expertise in the beauty sector"

The board of Revolution Beauty believes that boohoo's announcement yesterday vindicates its view, as stated in the Company's announcement of 21 June 2023, that Alistair McGeorge and Neil Catto (boohoo's two current board candidates for Revolution Beauty) do not have the relevant experience in running a business in the beauty sector, nor in supplying a store estate and beauty product range which is focussed on the high street.

The board of Revolution Beauty continues to be of the view that it is much better placed than the proposed boohoo candidates to deliver shareholder value. Together with a broad executive leadership team with significant beauty and e-commerce expertise, the Company reminds shareholders that, in Jeremy Schwartz, they already have a director with a wealth of experience in the beauty sector. Jeremy spent 12 years at L'Oréal, including as managing director in the UK responsible for all consumer, luxury, salon and active cosmetics divisions, and five years as chairman and CEO of The Body Shop, which has some 3,000 stores in 70 countries. Therefore, Ms Horsefield's proposed addition to the board is not required.

As previously announced, the Company also intends to appoint Rachel Maguire and Matthew Eatough as non-executive directors, who will bring robust challenge, fresh ideas and support as the business continues to grow."

Reality as of the LookFantastic site today. Looks like a pretty swift U-turn.

Skip through those product categories and that is a lot of product brought back online with @THG / LookFantastic.

An off the cuff remark the other day by REVB seemed to suggest that they had ceased commercial relationships with THG and from memory that was the case @LookFantastic which is owned by THG.

However on checking again today REVB products are back online with Lookfantastic.

I wonder if BOO effectively challenging the present Board of Directors at RevB on their "growth credentials" and expertise in running a Beauty business has caused an instant rethink.

it's a move I think is beneficial for both companies and particularly with THG owning THG Ingenuity and it's fulfilment centres around the globe. Certainly would assist with any growth aspirations.

Better day at the office and I am not trying to be funny but if anyone on here is trading airline shares it seems best to buy the likes of EZJ for it to start to rebound, then switch across to TUI for this one always seems to react a day or two later. Silly really given they are all in the same industry.

I think you are correct in your interpretation Hosai and that what happened yesterday would have been scripted and run past the Nomad in advance. Up until now BOO haven't expended any real monies on legal opinion and if they now wish to it will fall to them. Can't see the BOO shareholders themselves being happy with that. First question you'd ask as a Judge is why didn't you wait the month to the GM? and is it not easily argued that with suspension lifting today it was a blatant attempt to stop that. I have absolutely no problem with BOO being onboard or taking over REVB but let that be at market prices and cross the 30%. Everyone can see it was a half baked attempt to wrest control of the company and with virtually all the work done.

RevB now as it is, is worth a lot more than 26p.

Personally I never got the chance to vote but will be making my vote count in what I deem to be the correct way should a GM be convened.

The complete lack of volume is screaming out to the market makers that they have got the share price woefully wrong.

There is only so much "Denial" in share price appreciation that you can pay to an already significantly undervalued company and the progress that they are now clearly making.

Hosai, I personally think BOO made their play yesterday but there was a well thought through counter manoeuvre in place. BOO imo would be best advised to load up (probably are in any case) and then announce they have agreed to "work with the Board" and either withdraw their GM request or speak and settle for 1 or 2 BOO orientated Directors added to the RevB Board. In that way as a hedge they would make a lot of money on their recent strategic investment here.

Its a bit pointless trawling for shares at lower levels if some aren't even able to trade and it will only encourage in buyers and the likes of BOO to add more should they wish.

Easy takeover target for the likes of ELF or THG or another and given virtually all the hard work has already been done by Bob Holt and Elizabeth Lake.

With more and more information now coming out of THG HQ through Linkedin and RNS about Trading and expansion (and it being delivered) it isn't any surprise that so few shares are now being sold. It's been readily apparent for the last few weeks that even despite any dips selling volume is minimal. Just looks at todays volume thus far. Not far off midday and its just gone through 400k shares traded as I'm writing.

The market in this share is now speaking volumes. Gone are the days of rinse and repeat the PI's who were largely in the dark due to a stiff upper lip approach.

It is simply incredible that THG is still sat under the 170p bid of over a year ago and what must have been an even higher bid off Apollo, based on simple calculations and with them as Private Equity still angling to make a good profit on top.

Not ramping in the slightest but THG must be about 100p under where it should realistically be until more firmed up numbers come out, which I think most can see is coming.

Just my personal viewpoint.
